In the current International storyline, Nahikari and Virginia are together. But we all know it was a long and messy road.

Welcome to The Quiet Girl!

June 2020

Alexia and Jenni heard footsteps behind them. Lola was running towards them.

"Slow down." Jenni grabbed her. "What's going on?"

"Nahikari." Lola gapsed. "Get Nahikari."

"What?" Alexia looked at Jenni.

"You want to get rid of Virginia?" Alexia nodded. "Get Nahikari. I need a nap."

June 2019

Nahikari's POV:

I ran onto the field. My first World Cup appearance. We were tied 1-1. "I thought it was you!" Virginia pointed at Jenni.

"I'm not done yet."

Virginia looked at me. "Big moment. You ready?"

"I'm always ready."

She smirked. "I know." She ran away.

"Ok ok. Focus." Jenni pushed me.

Play resumed and the ball ended up flying into the box. Vir got her head to it and it flew into the goal. "Yes!" I ran and jumped on her back. I heard the whistle, but I held onto her.

I felt her grab my legs. "I got you." She said. Everyone ran over to celebrate until they heard the whistle.

The goal didn't count.

Vir was offside. I hopped off her back and she jogged away.

"We'll get the winner." Aitana said.

"Yeah. The winner." I nodded. "Right."

We ended up winning the game, 3-1.

2 penalties from Jenni and one goal from Lucia.

After the game, I walked toward Vir. "Can we talk?" I asked her.

"Of course." She smiled. We walked away from everyone else. "What's up?"

"Your goal."

"Yeah. That's tough." She nodded. "I just need to pay better attention. I'll get my goal though."

"Right! Yeah, it was a close call." I looked down. "Just keep an eye on those defenders."

She smiled. "Will do."

"Vir!" Leila yelled. "Come here!"

"I'll talk to you later, Nahi." She ran off.

"Yeah. See you later." I looked down. "I'm," I sighed. "in danger."

Boston, Massachusetts

Alexandra's POV:

"All packed?" I nodded. "Moving to New Jersey."

I laughed. "You don't sound too happy." I looked at my twin sister. We couldn't be any different.

I'm a star athlete, she's a makeup freak.

I'm going to play professional hockey, she puts makeup tutorials on YouTube.

But I'm proud of her. She knows what she wants.

"I'm losing my roommate."

"Only for a few months. And I'm only in New Jersey."

"This would've been better if the Pride drafted you." She rolled her eyes. "You know mom and dad are really proud of you."
