Happy For Once

These last few months have been shit for me. I officially no longer have a family and am trying to find an apartment to rent that I'll actually be able to afford without getting 6 jobs.

The one job I do currently have takes advantage of and disrespects me.

I haven't quit yet because 1. I can't find a better job (the pay here sucks but everywhere else seems to be worse) and 2. I don't want to leave without getting this girl's number or something (which will never happen so I might as well quit)

Anyways enough about me.

Enjoy this update.

December 2021

Alexandra's POV:

I finished up in the gym and caught up with all the sports news.

"Mariana Mendes has signed an extension with Utah Royals FC. The Portuguese striker agreed to a one year deal with the club just a few months after winning the NWSL championship. We head over to Spain now where Nahikari Garcia continues to dominate. Garcia scored a hat trick against Bilbao this weekend to push Real Sociedad into 3rd on the table. They'll face leaders, Barcelona after the holidays."

I nodded and looked at hockey.

Alexandra Hernandez back in form since her move to Shenzhen.

I smiled and locked my phone.

Everything is back to normal.

Nahikari's POV:

"Why did you have to do me like that." Lucia shook her head. "A hat trick? Really Nahi?"

"It just happened." I laughed.

"No, a hat trick doesn't JUST HAPPEN. Having the girl you like spill her heart out to you and then not talking for a month. Now that just happens!" She smirked.

"We're done here." I walked away. I got in my car and looked at my phone.

Vir

I smiled and called her.

"Hello?" She answered.

"Hey Vir."

She gapsed. "Is this Nahikari Garcia? THE Nahikari Garcia? Just scored a hat trick Nahikari Garcia?"

"Gonna kick your ass if you don't say something else Nahikari Garcia? Yes it is."

She laughed. "What's up Nahi?"

"Just called to talk. Lucia apparently knows about our conversation last month."

"That small child knows everything about everyone but nothing about herself." I smiled. "Don't listen to anyone else. It's no ones business right now."

"Not even Alexia?"

"Not even Alexia." She said. "Just me and you."

I smiled. "I have to drive home. I'll talk to you later?"

"Drive safe, let me know when you're home?"

Virginia's POV:

"I will."

"Bye." I hung up.

"Who's letting you know when they're home?" Lola leaned in the doorway smirking.

"FUCKING SHIT!" I leaned over. "What the fuck Lola?"

"Who's letting you know when they're home?" She repeated. Then she gapsed. "Is it Nahi? ARE YOU TWO DATING!!! FINALLY!"
