Virginia's POV:
"Vir!" I turned and saw Mapi.
"Hey Mapi." I smiled.
"Oh, you'll talk to me."
"Don't get involved in this. It doesn't concern you."
"Mariana is my fiancée. I'm more than involved. She's really upset."
I looked over her shoulder and saw Mariana. "Yeah? So am I. Don't get involved." I walked away. I saw Carmen walk over and went towards Lola. "Who the hell does Mapi think she is?"
"I don't know, Vir. Maybe we should just drop it. I mean Jenni left Barca, no one hated."
"Alexia did."
"That was different. But they worked it out and look at them now. You and Mariana? You two were," She shook her head. "You were always there for her after what she's gone through." She shrugged. "I'm upset she left too, but maybe we took it too far."
"You know she's about to unleash hell on you, right? Score all the goals she wants?"
"She can try. But I'm unbeatable." I stared at her. "Yeah, you're right. I'm screwed."
As the game got underway, it was physical. Mariana ran towards Lola and took the shot. Lola took her out. Mariana did not get up and Lola just stared at her.
"What the hell!" Mapi ran over.
I started to walk over. "Don't even think about it." Leila pointed to me. "You've done enough."
The game restarted, Mariana was clearly pissed off. She scored another one, assisted by Jenni.
I finally got on the ball and started an attack. Mariana ran at me and got the ball. It was a good tackle. I'll give her that. I got up and watched from my knees as Patri scored.
"Come on!" I banged my fist on the ground. "What are you all asleep?" I turned to my teammates.
Later on, Barca got a penalty. Mariana stepped up and completed her hat trick.
Patri passed Mariana the ball. "I've had enough of this." I mumbled and sprinted over. I grabbed Mariana and tried to get the ball. My arm came up and my elbow got her right in the face. "Ah shit." I sighed.
"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!" Mariana got into my face.
"Fuck you." I pushed her.
"Back up!" Mapi ran over.
"Hey hey!" Alexia grabbed her. I watched Mariana. She was bleeding.
"Enough." Jenni said. "Walk away." She looked at me. "You alright kid?"
"I'm fine." I started to walk away.
"That's going to leave a mark."
"I get ignoring me for months and blocking my number. But this is a whole new level!" Mariana yelled at me. "Now I know. I know EXACTLY where we stand."
"Let's go then!" I walked towards her. Carmen ran over and I got a yellow card.
"Don't do something that's gonna cost us the game." Carmen said. "Keep your drama OFF the field."
Nahikari's POV:
"The second half was where everything went south. Virginia picking up a yellow card after elbowing Mariana in the face. The former teammates exchanged a few words before Mariana was removed by trainers."
I grabbed my phone and called Virginia. "Do you feel better now?"
She sighed. "I don't want a lecture."
"Too bad. Mariana is your friend. And you gave her a black eye."
"Yeah and she looks hotter than before." She said. "Damn girl doesn't have an ugly bone in her body."
I shook my head. "Vir."
"Look. I'm out with Carmen and Lola. I'll call you later ok?"
"Fine."
Virginia's POV:
"Where are we going anyway?" I asked. I saw Jenni and Alexia. "Oh. So this is happening?"
"You're lucky I don't kick your ass right now." Alexia said. "Ass in the car. Now."
We drove somewhere and waited. Mapi and Mariana were waiting. "Jenni!" Mapi waved.
"No!" I turned around.
"This needs to be done!" Jenni yelled.
"Virginia so help me I will knock you on your ass right now." Alexia said. "Fix this."
"I'm not scared of you."
"I will call Nahi."
"No." I pouted. "Don't call Nahi. She's mad enough."
Mapi, Carmen, Alexia, and Jenni walked away.
We all talked about everything. "I thought we were going to be teammates for a long time. I loved playing on the same team as you."
"I loved it too. We were great friends before I signed with Atleti. Why does it have to end?" Mariana said.
Lola walked to her and hugged her. "I'm still mad you scored a hat trick." Lola turned to me.
"And I'm still mad about my eye." Mariana said.
"It was an accident." I rolled my eyes.
"You accidentally ran across the field and elbowed me in the eye?"
I nodded. "Yeah."
We worked everything out and went to see her nephew. I dragged Mariana away to go scare Leila. "You know Leila went home, right?" Mariana said.
"I know." I hugged her. "I'm sorry." I mumbled. "When I left Barca, Alexia and I grew apart a little. I felt alone in France. I got her back, but I didn't want to lose you."
"You pushing me away the way you did would've done that." She said. "Vir, I lost my brother. I can't lose anyone else. I can't lose you. You have my back, I need you." I nodded.
"You'll have me." I looked at her eye. "It really does make you hotter. Fuck you Mariana." She laughed.

Alexandra's POV:
I stepped onto the ice. It was the first time since I broke my leg.
As long as it's been, it didn't feel weird at all. "I missed this." I sighed. "Skating."
"So play again." Zariah said.
"Who's gonna sign me?"
"You were gonna try for Boston remember?"
"Do you honestly think they'd take a chance on me?"
"Do you think you're worth it?" I looked down. "You have your moments, Alex. I won't lie to you, there are days I want to punch you in the face. But we all have those days. It's what makes us human. But as long as you don't lash out and let yourself fall so deep into the hole like you did then. I'd say you're worth the chance."
I looked at her. "I'm sorry for everything. You're my sister and I turned my back on you."
"I'm sorry too. For letting my anger blind me." She said. "I was so mad at you for turning my back, I never stopped to see what was really going on. We both messed up, Alex. Let's just put it behind us and look to the future. Starting with you calling that agent of yours and getting a contract to play for Boston."
