June 2026

Nahikari's POV:

"Wedding day." Nat smiled. "It's so beautiful. What a great day for our friends."

"Daan? You okay?"

"I don't speak any of these languages." She looked around. "Help me."

"There's Mariana's mom." Nat said. "Isadora." She waved.

"Natalia!" She hugged her. "Look at you. So beautiful. Who is this?"

"This is Danielle, my girlfriend. She only speaks English."

"What'd she say?" Daan whispered to me.

"Shh."

"Nice to you meet." Isadora smiled.

"You too." Daan shook her hand.

"And you know Nahikari."

"Of course. Great to see you again, Nahikari." I hugged her. "You too." I smiled. "Big day. How excited is your husband?"

"He's barely slept. Too excited. The boys in this family." She shook her head. "I'm sure you've seen it already with little Gabriel."

"Oh yeah, that kid is insane." Daan laughed. "But he's part of this enormous football family we've built. We all love him. Mariana too."

"I've noticed."

Mariana's dad walked over. "Look at all of you. So beautiful on this beautiful day." He smiled. "How are all of you?"

"Great." I smiled.

"So happy for Mariana and Mapi." Nat said.

"Confused." Daan sighed.

"You must be Daan." He said. "Mari told me about you."

"Good things?"

He stared at her. "They were definitely things." They walked away.

I laughed. "I'll fight Mari." She said.

"No, you won't."

Virginia's POV:

I walked down the aisle and stood at Mapi's left. "Well?" She asked.

"She's beautiful, Mapi." I squeezed her hand. "Too beautiful for you."

"Be nice." I heard Nahi.

"That's the nicest way to say it." I looked at her. She shook her head but I could see the smile. "You love me." I mouthed.

"You right." She mouthed back.

Mariana and her parents walked out. The ceremony was beautiful and the two dorks were now officially married.

We were at the reception and I found Nahi. "Hey."

"Look at you. In your wedding best."

"You know I had to. For Mariana. She said, "be by my side at my wedding?" I said okay."

She laughed. "They're cute." We looked at Mari and Mapi.

"They are." I watched Leila walk over. "I'm gonna ruin it." I walked over.

"I'm gonna make a speech."

"Please don't."

"I'm going."

"Please, no. Leila, please sit back down."

"Can't hear you. I'm standing up."

"If she makes a speech I'm making one." I said.

"No." Mariana sighed.

Leila went on and on. I hyped her up a little. But this was my moment. I got my phone and went towards the stage. "When I give the signal hit play on this."

"Got it." I walked back towards Mariana.

"That was adorable." She hugged Leila.

"Yeah, it was." I nodded. "I'm gonna ruin it." I grabbed the microphone. I looked towards Nahikari. She knew what I had planned.

The whole time I spoke, I thought of my talk with Leo. His bright smile when he spoke of his sister.

"I'm so happy she has Mapi in her life. I've never seen my sister so happy but knowing she's got you too? Thank you."

"For what?"

"For looking out for my sister when I can't."

The video ended and I saw Mariana's reaction. "When you asked me to be your maid of honor, I had to say yes. For you and for him. I wish he was here, but I'm happy I saved that video."

Mariana walked right into my arms. "Thank you." She mumbled.

"You know I love you, Mari. If I could bring him back just for today I would."

"That was enough."

August 2026

Alexandra's POV:

"We're very happy to announce that we have resigned Alex Hernandez to a two year contract. She been a great addition for the team so we've very excited to have her stick around."

I smiled and looked at my sister. "Locked in for 2 more years."

"Good don't fuck it up." Beck said.

"Go somewhere."

"I go where she goes and she hasn't gone anywhere." He pointed to my sister.

"I'm starting to hate this."

"Yeah that was gross. Never say that again." Zariah patted his shoulder.

"I know. I hate that side of me. It's disgusting."

I shook my head. "Two more years." I smiled. "I got a good feeling about this."

Zariah smiled. "I like this Alex. Happy and positive. Good to have you back sis."

I laughed. "Thanks for sticking by me."

"I'm your twin. I've been with you since day 1. I'm never going anywhere."

"Neither am I."

Oh Alex... if only you knew. I know. I know everything.
