On Monday my father is finally declared as put in jail. Along with Liz's dad for the time being.
But that means she had found out who her father really was.
Her mom didn't want them to be in New York while her dad was on trial so they were moving. I comforted her all morning.
When it was soon time for her to leave I helped her pack up her stuff from her locker.
While walking down the hall with Liz, her mom,and Betty all with her I spotted Peter and gave him a look like come say goodbye
He came over and both Ned and Peter said goodbye to her then I gave her a big hug and promised to keep her updated on what happens here. Then she left
Its always been hard moving from place to place but I've never been on the receiving end of it. I became so close with liz so fast. I wish we would've hung out more or talked more. I thought she would be here as long as I'd be here so I thought I'd have nothing to worry about.
I felt tears escape from my eyes as I waved goodbye.
I bit my bottom lip trying to stop myself from crying more just staring at the wall.
While wiping my eyes with my sleeve Peter walked over to me and whispered
"You ok?"
Sniffling I say
"I'm gonna miss her.."
Peter pulls me into a hug and holds me tight for a few seconds.
While hugging I whisper "I owe you so much Parker"
He pulls away and looks at me
"You owe me nothing being here for you is just.. just what I'll do"
He says then looks over at Ned
"I'll see you in Spanish. Don't forget we have a chemistry test today"
Peter walks away saying.
During chemistry, Peter and I are lab partners. So he's always trying to mess with me but today I think he was trying to get my in trouble from how much he was making me laugh.
He slid a ripped out, folded, note over me that had a little spider web and said
"I really like you"
At the top then below that
"Wanna go out with me?"
With hearts surrounding it
And then two boxes of yes and no.
Blushing and trying to not giggle I make a new box in between with the words
"100% yes"
And then I check that box and then slide it back to him.
After school we had a decathlon meeting.
Mr.Harrington, who sat at the head of the table says
"CongratsDecathlon national champions."
"I'm gonna have to put this back in the trophy case soon, but just for motivation right now at this practice. I'm a little ahead of the game but we will need a new team captain next year. So I'm appointing Michelle."
We all clap looking at Mj
Then she says
"Um thank you. My friends call me MJ"
"I thought you didn't have any friends."
Ned points out
Then she says back
"..I didn't."
Taking out his phone, Peter looks at it then slowly gets up asking if he could go
"Where you going?"
I softly ask as hes standing up
MJ leans on the table looking at him
"What are you hiding.. Peter?"
He freezes.
Ned and I exchange an Uh oh face.
[Peter freezes as he thinks of an excuse. Michelle stares at him, eyes filled with suspicion.]
Michelle:What are you hiding, Peter?
"I'm kidding. I don't care. Bye."
MJ says so not kidding at all but he leaves anyways.
