Part 34

Mattia pov

I quickly got out of the car and ran into the hospital, heading for Jordons room but she wasn't in there. Kai and ale caught up with and I tried thinking of where she could be right now.

I saw a nurse walk past and I asked if she knew where Jordon was. She directed us to another room and I thanked her and headed there quickly.

I saw mr Fanelli pacing around outside of a room, when he looked at me my heart sank seeing his tear stained face.

" what happened?" I asked him.

" her heart rate just dropped down really low all of a sudden," he said. He held his head, " she was getting ready to go to your game and she just dropped to the floor and she was losing her breath."

I couldn't even imagine how scared he was, I'd probably freak if I saw her like that.

He was fidgeting with his fingers, " I've never seen her struggle so bad to take a breath...it looked like...it looked like..." he wiped his eyes and I felt my own getting teary. I put my arms around him hugging him because he needed some comfort.

My heart was beating rapidly and I was starting to get all anxious again. And if I was feeling like this I don't even know how bad he was feeling, because she was his daughter. And seeing her like that must've been heartbreaking for him.

I rubbed his back and I couldn't think of anything to say. I couldn't reassure him and lie that she was going to be ok because honestly I didn't know. I didn't know if she was. All I could do right now was make sure he was ok and he wasn't as tense as before.

I looked over at ale and Kai, " get him some water," they both nodded and went off to get him some. I made him sit down and I sat down next to him, making sure he stayed calm. Ale and Kai came back with some water and I gave it to Mr Fanelli.

I sat back in the chair holding in my own tears because I don't think crying right now in front of him was going to help with anything.

After a while the door of the room Jordon was in, opened up and some doctors walked out. We all stood up and the doctor looked at Mr Fanelli.

" she's awake now," he said to her, " you can see her and later on we need to talk about her situation ," he looked at me and the boys, " in private," Mr Fanelli nodded and walked into the room.

I was about to walk in but I thought it'd be best to give them both some time on their own at first. Plus I'd have more time to calm myself down before I saw her.

I was pacing around outside of her room for about half an hour. The boys watched me but neither of them told me to sit down, they stayed quiet and I'm glad they did because I didn't want to talk to anyone at the moment.

Mr Fanelli walked out of the room, he looked at me and smiled a little sadly, " she wants to see you," he said. The doctor came up to mr Fanelli and they both walked away somewhere to talk about Jordon.

I felt a little nervous going in. I looked back the boys who looked at me encouragingly, " do you guys wanna come with me?" I asked.

They both shook their heads, " we'll be able to talk to her later, you should go in now alone," Kai said.

I nodded and I walked into her room closing the door behind me.

I saw her sat up on her bed and seeing her with all these tubes attached to her made me want to cry.

I walked closer to her and sat down on her bed. She smiled at me weakly and I held her hands, not knowing what to say at the moment because I was still a little shaken.
