Jordon pov

" dad when I tell you to smile, you smile!" I yelled at him, sitting back in my hospital bed with my Polaroid in my hand.

" I am smiling," he said, " this is as far as my lips curve," he said shrugging, and I frowned at him.

" unbelievable." I said shaking my head. Fiona walked in a few seconds later, " Fiona smile," I said and I pointed my polaroid in her direction.

She complied without a seconds thought and I snapped the picture.

I waited for it to come out and I shook it a little. It came out perfectly, " see, that's what you call a smile," I told my dad, pointing at Fiona and she started to laugh.

" don't blame him Jordon, your fathers just incapable of smiling," she said shaking her head.

" I'm not, I can smile," he said folding his arms.

" please," she said, raising her brow at him, " you couldn't smile even if your life depended on it. You don't have a sense of humour mr Fanelli," she told him.

" I do too," he huffed, " I find a lot of things amusing,"

" like what?" I asked him.

He started to think and he scratched his chin as he was.

" see, nothing," Fiona said, " the only thing you found amusing was bullying Mattia,"

I nodded with her agreeing, " yeah, that's true,"

" I didn't bully him," he said, " they were just...just small...err.."

He was struggling to finish his sentence and Fiona and I gave him funny looks," we're waiting," I said to him.

He looked at both of us and tutted, " you both drive me crazy," he said waving us off. He stood up, " I'm going to get a drink," he said walking out of the room, Fiona and I laughed at him on his way out.

At that moment my phone beeped and I looked over at it to see a message from Mattia.

" ah I bet that's Romeo himself," Fiona said laughing a little.

I rolled my eyes and smiled, " stoppp," I said to her.

She laughed a little more and I shook my head at her. She headed out of my room and I looked down at my phone to see what Mattia had to say.

I didn't mind to be honest. I wanted him to prioritise other things in life besides me.
