Jordon pov
School had started for all of us again, so we'd both be busy during the day. I'd go to Mattia's around 5-ish on some days.
"It's mine," Gian argued trying to snatch the ice cream box.
" get your tiny ass hands off it, you know it's mine," mattia said pulling it away from him. His foot had somewhat healed and he could walk properly on it now, you'd think he'd be more careful from now on but he was still acting reckless.
" I'm so sorry," I whispered to mattia's mom. We were both watching them fight which was basically all they ever did, everyday. At first it was entertaining but it got annoying hella fast.
She smiled and laughed a little, " wait till they realise it's empty and it has leftover food inside there,"
My eyes widened and I started laughing. At that moment Mattia's phone started ringing, " who is it?" He asked still fighting for the ice cream.
" some girl called....Kerry?" I answered. Gian and mattia looked at each other and started laughing and even Mattia's mom smiled," what? Is that not how you say her name?"
Mattia shook his head still laughing, " no, it's pronounced Kairi and he's a boy," he snatched the box quickly off Gian and smiled to himself. He walked over to his phone and answered it, " hey man,"
He picked up a spoon and opened the lid of the ice cream. He looked down at the ice cream box and groaned, " ma, seriously?" He whisper yelled to her and she laughed to herself before walking out of the kitchen. He put the lid back on the box and threw it back in the freezer.
" yeah, yeah I remember. The park at six," he was saying. He put the phone down and looked over at me, " wanna go to the park?" He asked.
I shrugged, " what for?"
" the school hosts this shit bonfire show thing, I don't know why or what its for but you should definitely come," he said.
" shit bonfire show?" I repeated and I folded my arms, raising my brow a little, " sounds tempting," I said sarcastically.
He rolled his eyes, " well it's better than staying at home," he said, " so you coming or what?"
I thought about it," yeah, why not," dad was working late today anyway so it was better than staying at home by myself.

I realised besides a coat I didn't have anything else to keep me warm, I didn't have any hats or scarves because I rarely travelled or went out in the cold. So mattia let me borrow one of his beanies.
" which one do you want?" He asked and I had to admit he had a lot.
" does it matter," I asked.
" of course it does. I wouldn't want it to clash with your outfit," he said grinning.
I looked at him unbelievably," clash with my- oh my god just give me any damn beanie,"
He laughed and gave me a bright orange one and I slipped it on. I said I had to go home to get something so he said he'd meet me at my house since the park was closer to mine anyway.
" you went home for the Polaroid?" He asked unbelievably when I stepped out of my house.
I rolled my eyes, " yes, Is there a problem with that?" I asked.
" no, just keep your eye on it. That could get stolen whilst everyone's watching the fireworks," he said.
We went out Into the cold and the park wasn't that faraway from my house so it didn't take us long to get there.
