Mattia pov

" you're leaving already?" I asked her as I got up from my sofa.

She nodded, " yeah I'm sorry guys," she said looking at me and then ale and Kai behind me, " you know what my dads like about curfews," she said.

I nodded, " I'll walk you home," I said going to get my shoes but she stopped me.

" mattia he's outside your house," she said laughing a little, " he said he was picking me up,"

I frowned and I sighed quietly. Her dad made hanging out with her so damn hard.

" I'll see y'all some other day," she said waving at us and then she walked up the stairs out of my room, closing the door behind her.

I went back and laid down on the sofa, getting a little annoyed Jordon had to leave so early. I got my phone out and started scrolling through it, ale and Kai were doing the same.

" hey you're coming to the Valentine's Day dance next Friday, right?" Kai asked.

I shook my head still focusing on my phone," no. I don't have a date for the dance,"

" so? you don't need one to come to the dance," he told me.

" I know but it's gonna be embarrassing if I don't, you know what Emma's like, she's probably gonna start stirring shit," I shook my head, " I'll probably chill at Jordons or something, you guys should ditch the dance and come with me,"

Jordon wouldn't mind, she enjoyed the company. She said she likes it when we come over because she was always bored.

Ale palmed his face, " why don't you just invite Jordon to the dance then?"

I looked up from my phone to look at him," but what if she thinks that-"

" she won't," ale said shaking his head.

" but do you?" Kai asked smirking at me.

" what are you talking about?" I asked looking up at him. They both looked at each other and I sat up on the sofa.

There's no way they know.

" don't play coy with us, we know you so damn well. You think we wouldn't figure out that you're crushing on her?" Kai asked me.

I laughed awkwardly, " no, no. It's not like that at all. She's my friend, Jordon's my friend," I said to them both clearly.

" your friend, that you have a crush on," ale said laughing. I rolled my eyes at him.

" you guys can say whatever you want, it isn't true," I said seriously folding my arms.

It was, it was so true but there was no way in hell I was going to tell these two.

" stop denying it Mattia. You've liked her since that firework show," Kai said, " you couldn't keep your eyes off her then, or at that soccer game. Actually whenever we hang out with her. It's actually pretty sad to watch," he said looking at me pityingly.

I rolled my eyes at him and I felt a little embarrassed that I give it away so easily, but there was no way I was going to admit that I had a small, tiny crush on Jordon.

There's no way I was going to admit how cute she was and how I loved it whenever her brown eyes would light up when she'd laugh at something. Or that when she smiled at me it would make me feel a little lighter and make my heart beat a little faster.

Yeah there's no way I was going to admit to any of that.

" no, you're wrong, you're both fucking wrong." I said shaking my head at them.
