Part 15

Jordon pov

" I know it doesn't sound like much, and it's probably not the first date you were thinking of, but I heard that today was the last day it was here and I-"

I shushed him, " Mattia it's perfect." I told him. I looked around at the lights that were lighting up the whole fair ground. It wasn't that crowded tonight either or too loud which was a relief.

Mattia and I started walking around and I stared at literally any thing that lit up or caught my eye. I forgot how long it's been since I've been to a fair or like a theme park. I couldn't go because I wasn't allowed on any of the rollercoasters and because the crowds were quite overwhelming.

" I bet I can knock over way more coconuts than you," Mattia said to me pointing at one of the stalls.

" you're on," I said and we both walked over to it

I can't wait to beat his ass on all these games.

" you're such a sore loser!" I said elbowing him lightly.

" I'm not, it just doesn't make sense. How have you won every single game so far? Are these stall owners trying to make me look bad or something on our first date?" He asked me, "Are you conspiring with all of them?" And he looked at me suspiciously.

I laughed and shook my head, " unbelievable. You know just for that you can't keep the dinosaur I won anymore," I told him, I tried snatching it out of his hands.

" hey, you gifted this to me, you can't take it back," he snorted.

" Mattia I won it. It's mine!" I said still trying to take it out of his hands.

" no way!" He yelled back.

I groaned, " fine then," I saw his jacket that was wrapped around his waist. I quickly snatched it," I'm keeping this until you give me the dinosaur,"

He shrugged, " I'm good with that. It'll look way better on you anyway,"

I felt my cheeks heat up and he smirked at me when he noticed how red my face was. I nudged him and he started laughing at me. I put the jacket on because it was getting a little chilly.

We walked around for a little while and I took more pictures of Mattia hugging the life out of the Dino plushie as well as all the lights and stalls. I'm glad we came here during the night because I don't think I would've enjoyed it as much during the day.

" woah, look at the size of that thing," Mattia said looking in the direction of one of the rollercoasters. I put my camera down and it annoyed me that I wasn't allowed on any of these in case something bad happened. He held my hand and pulled me," let's go on it!"

Before we got in the line I stopped him, " err...actually Mattia I can't...I..."

He looked at me a little confused, " what, not a rollercoaster person? Do they scare you?" He asked me.

" no it's just...," he looked at me curiously. I could tell he was one to enjoy rides like these and I didn't want him to miss out on them, " you go on it without me," I told him.

" what? No Jordon, you gotta go on it with me, seriously they're not that bad. I know you'll love it," he said smiling a little at me.

I sighed, " I'm not scared of them Mattia . I just....I can't..." I didn't know how to explain to him without giving anything away. I kept looking back at the ride and then at the floor and tried thinking of what to say.

" hey," he said catching my attention. He held my face in his hands and smiled at me," I understand,"

He was staring into my eyes and the way he was smiling at me made the butterflies in my stomach flutter a little. Of course he didn't know much but he knew that there was something wrong, he knew there was a reason I couldn't go on it.
