" come on, I thought we were finally getting somewhere, you know?" I was telling Jordan's dad, " you can trust me,"

He shook his head whilst still reading his newspaper, " nope. Absolutely not. You're not allowed to stay over or visit at night. And you're not allowed to come over when I'm not here,"

Jordon tutted, " dad, you're being ridiculous right now."

" no I'm not, I'm being perfectly fair." He answered her.

" but I use to come over a lot before. You didn't mind then," I told him.

"That was before y'all started dating. I don't trust you guys together alone anymore," he said seriously.

Jordon and I looked at each other quickly and her cheeks went bright red. There was a small awkward silence but Jordon broke it, " is there anything-"

Nope," her dad said before she could finish, "And neither of you can change my mind on this." He stood up and walked upstairs and we both followed after him, " what are you doing here anyway? don't you have school or something to go to?" He asked me before he went upstairs.

I checked my watch and noticed that I should probably leave if I didn't want to be late today, " I should probably get going," I told Jordon.

She nodded and walked me to the front door,"Why did you come this early anyway?" She asked before I could open the door.

I tried remembering why and then I clicked my fingers, " oh yeah. I came to get my hoodie,"

" you mean our hoodie?" She asked.

" no," I said slowly, " my hoodie," it was the only black one I had left and when I was looking for it this morning I remembered that Jordon had it.

" no," she repeated slowly, " our hoodie," I started laughing and she smiled at me.

I rolled my eyes, " fine. OUR hoodie," I said emphasising 'our' , " can I have it for today?"

She shook her head, " no, I'm not done with it yet,"

I looked at her confused and scratched the back of my head, " what? But you've got a ton of hoodies. why'd you want this one so bad?"

" because non of my hoodies smell like you," she said like it was perfectly good reason to keep it.

I started laughing a little again and she blushed, " fine, you keep it as long as you want," I told her. I pulled her closer to me, wrapping my arms around her hips and I rested my forehead against hers so I could stare into her eyes.

" you really don't mind me keeping it?" She asked quietly whilst putting her arms around my neck.

I shook my head, " not really. Cause when I get it back it'll smell like you," any clothing of mine that Jordon borrows come back with a sweet apricot like scent and I loved it.

She laughed a little and now the ends of our noses were touching. I pulled her in closer by the waist and looked down at her lips. She stopped laughing and looked down at mine, and we both leaned in to kiss each other.
