"Hwa where are you i'm home" called out Hongjoong as he got in. He heard a small meow and turned around to see a cat sat on the arm of the sofa. "Afternoon baby, I picked up the test" said Hongjoong. The cat meowed and with a flash the cat turned into Seonghwa, Hongjoongs boyfriend. "Do you want to have a quick drink before you do it?" asked Seonghwa. "Sure babe" said Hongjoong sitting down on the sofa and reading the instructions on the test. Seonghwa headed into the kitchen and made himself a glass of milk, and made Hongjoong a coffee. Seonghwa brought them into the living room and gave Hongjoong his drink. "Thanks babe" said Hongjoong sipping his coffee. "Do you think it will come back positive?" asked Seonghwa.
"I'm not sure babe but if it does then it would explain my morning sickness and stomach aches" said Hongjoong. Seonghwa nodded and sipped his milk eyeing up the pregnancy test on the table. A few weeks ago Hongjoong started getting morning sickness and lots of stomach aches. The younger had to take two weeks off work because of it. The two worked in a hybrid shop which is where Hongjoong fell in love with Seonghwa and adopted him. However Seonghwa soon fell for Hongjoong and the two ended up in a relationship. Now Seonghwa also works in the shop helping to communicate with nervous and shy hybrids. The shop had multiple types of hybrids; Cat hybrids, Dog hybrids, Squirrel hybrids, Hamster hybrids etc.
After their drinks Hongjoong headed to the bathroom to do the test whilst Seonghwa waited patiently. Soon Hongjoong came out the bathroom and placed the test on the table and cuddled up to Seonghwa as they waited for their results. After three minutes Hongjoong checked it and gasped. "I-i'm pregnant hyung" said Hongjoong showing Seonghwa the test. Seonghwa smiled and hugged Hongjoong tightly. "We're gonna have a baby. I wonder if it will be a hybrid like me?" said Seonghwa excited. "If they are i'll have two kittens running around the house" said Hongjoong rubbing Seonghwas cat ears making the elder purr and put his head in the crook of Hongjoongs neck. The two smiled and kissed softly excited for their future baby.
~6 months later~
Hongjoong smiled as he saw Seonghwa come back from the baby shop with lots of bags along with Mingi and Yunho carrying stuff aswell. "Did you buy the whole shop or something" said Hongjoong giggling. "Well our baby deserves the best so I got lot's of things for them" said Seonghwa proud of himself. "He even picked up gender neutral things so the baby doesn't feel pressured into acting their gender" said Yunho proud of his hyung. Hongjoong smiled knowing Seonghwa was worried about his brother who had recently changed gender. "I'm sure they'll love it" said Hongjoong. Since Yunho was a puppy hybrid he had plenty of energy and offered to help Seonghwa set up some of the things. Mingi was also a kitten hybrid which is what made his and Yunhos relationship so cute and unique.
The three headed to the newly painted nursery which Yeosang had painted for them. Mingi smiled as he saw the white walls and the big hehetmon on the wall. Yunho and Seonghwa built the cot and Mingi started on sterilising some of the toys, pacifiers, bottles etc and then putting them in the chest of drawers in the nursery. Hongjoong came in and sat in the armchair watching them decorate the nursery. Once the cot was built Mingi changed into cat form and jumped in curling up and getting comfy. "Is it comfy Mingi. One meow yes, two meows means sorta and three meows means no" said Seonghwa. Mingi purred and meowed loudly once making the others smile.

Yunho smiled and lifted Mingi out so they could put some blankets down. Mingi changed back and smiled. "It's purrrfect" said Mingi making the others giggle. Once a few more things had been set up and prepared Yunho and Mingi headed home. "Baby can I have some kitty cuddles, I think they're missing you" said Hongjoong. Seonghwa smiled and nodded changing into cat form and climbed onto Hongjoongs lap. Hongjoong put his feet on a cushion stool and Seonghwa sat in his lap. Seonghwa started kneading Hongjoongs bump with his paws gently purring as he did it. Hongjoong smiled as he felt the baby calm down and slow down their kicks a bit. Hongjoong stroked Seonghwa fluffy black fur as the elder continued. Before the pregnancy Seonghwa used to knead Hongjoongs thigh but when Hongjoong got pregnant Seonghwa started kneading Hongjoongs baby bump because it comforted the younger.
Plus Seonghwa liked to think of it as bonding time. After a while Seonghwa got tired and cuddled up to Hongjoongs side still in cat form. Soon both of them fell asleep including the baby. A few months later and Hongjoong was nine months and ready to pop. Seonghwa had become very protective over Hongjoong in his final few months and checked the nursery daily to make sure they had everything ready including the hospital bag which Seonghwa had packed during Hongjoongs seventh month to make sure they were ready. One day Hongjoong woke up early with cramps. Seonghwa was convinced it was the day and so clung to Hongjoong and wouldn't let the younger out of his sight unless the younger needed the bathroom of course.
At around midday Hongjoong was starting to get more painful cramps and asked to go to the hospital. Seonghwa nodded and grabbed the baby bag and helped Hongjoong out the door. A few hours later and Hongjoong gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Seonghwa was extra happy because their baby was also a hybrid, she was also a pure white kitten hybrid which was rare which made Seonghwa extra proud. After two days in the hospital the two were allowed home. Seonghwa placed their baby in the cot after changing her and Hongjoong sat in the armchair resting and watching. Hongjoong smiled as he saw their baby drift off to sleep. Seonghwa carried Hongjoong into their room next door and the two got changed before cuddling up on the bed.
"Thank you for carrying her Joongie she's beautiful" said Seonghwa. "Thank you for supporting me Hwa" said Hongjoong. The two kissed softly before drifting off to sleep proud of their creation and excited for the future.
Sorry it's a bit short, my fingers are still slightly sore and I'm really anxious about going back to school since we have to have covid tests twice a week and my sensory issues(i'm a sensitive little bean) mean that I really struggle and sometimes breakdown if a certain material is on/around me for too long(etc) eg the swab (so that's gonna be a struggle lol).
