Soulmate PT.2
Yeosang quickly ran out the house and made his way down the road back towards his house. He remembered back to when Mingi told him that his parents once punched him because he refused to study. Yeosang feared for Mingis safety now more than ever. Mingis parents certainly didn't look happy. Tears started running down his face as he worried about his boyfriend. When he got home he hugged his mother tightly and his parents sat him down and asked him what happened. "M-mingi had his shirt off and mine was half off. We were kissing and things were getting slightly heated when Mingis p-parents walked in. His father shouted and Mingi quickly rushed me out the door but I'm worried about what they'll do to him. He said that one time his parents hit him because he refused to study...what if they hurt him more?" Said Yeosang as he broke down in tears.
His parents comforted him and told him to go get some sleep. The next morning Yeosang woke up and got ready for school still worried about Mingi since he hadn't heard from the younger at all. Yeosang was especially worried when he got to school and Mingi wasn't there. Two periods in and Mingi still hadn't arrived.
~~Meanwhile~~
Mingi coughed up blood as he rushed to get his books into a suitcase. He packed the necessary books and some clothes before shutting the suitcase and packing a backpack which he attached to the extended handle of the suitcase. The night before once Yeosang had left his parents beat him up badly. They had punched, kicked, slapped and even threw a dumbbell at him which he was sure broke a rib. He had blood dripping down his face and bruises everywhere as he looked down at his ankle. There was a massive cut where he had tried to get away but his mother attempted to stab him with a nail file. His parents had gone off to work in the morning leaving him on the floor unconscious. When Mingi woke up he immediately started packing. Now he just had to go to Yeosangs house.
Mingi pushed his bags down the stairs before slowly crawling down them trying his best not to hurt himself anymore. Mingi crawled passed the kitchen when he stopped. He saw the knife on the counter and did probably the most stupid thing ever and made cuts all over his hand until he was crying in pain. Mingi cried harder as he looked at the photo on the wall. He quickly grabbed it and put it in his backpack before struggling onto his feet. He grabbed the suitcase handle with his non bloody hand and limped to the front door. The neighbor looked at him in shock before rushing round to help. "Take me to my friends house please please" begged Mingi. He nodded and helped him into his car along with his luggage.
Mingi directed him to a street near Yeosangs house and got out before making him promise not to tell anyone. Mingi limped down the street as the car drove off. He started feeling dizzy as he approached Yeosangs house but still continued walking. He got to the front door and banged on it hoping someone was in. He slowly slid down the door as his vision became blurry. He hugged his suitcase to his chest as he fell unconscious. When Yeosangs dad came home he was shocked to find Mingi bruised, beaten and bleeding unconscious on their front door step. He quickly opened the door and carried Mingi upstairs to the spare bedroom before ringing his wife who was a nurse and getting Mingis stuff off the doorstep.
When Yeosangs mum got home she quickly started cleaning Mingi up and wiping up the blood and bandaging Mingis hand and other cuts. Wet wipes lay around the bed stained with blood and Yeosangs dad had to change his shirt and wipe the front door down because of the blood. The two decided not to tell Yeosang as they didn't want him worrying or running home and getting in trouble with school. "Has he woke up yet?" Asked Mr Kang. "No but he'll wake up soon" replied Mrs Kang. The two looked sadly at the boy who was most likely gonna be their son in law in the future. They couldn't believe how someone could hurt such a sweet, innocent, kind boy especially their own son.
Yeosang sighed as he walked home slowly still worried about Mingi and wondering why he wasn't at school. When he got home he was stopped in the living room by his father. "I need you to stay calm okay...we found Mingi on the doorstep at dinner time and he's in a bad condition...your mom just finished changing his dressing and everything but he still looks quite bad okay" said his father. Yeosangs eyes became glassy with tears as he heard that but the tears fell when he saw his mum walk out the spare bedroom with plasters and bandages soaked in blood. Yeosang rushed to the doorway and stared in shock as he saw Mingis state. His clothes were blood stained and he had plasters and bandages covering most of his body with other cuts sealed with butterfly stitches. Mingis eyes fluttered open and Yeosang quickly made his way to Mingis side. "He's awake" shouted Yeosang. Yeosang sat on the edge of the bed and allowed tears to stream down his face as he caressed Mingis cheek.
Yeosangs mother came in and checked Mingi was okay before helping to position him into a comfortable sitting position. Mingi reached out and wiped Yeosangs tears. "Did I miss anything in lesson today" asked Mingi. "No your so smart that you probably already know the next few lessons already" said Yeosang as he cried. "Don't cry...I don't like seeing you upset" said Mingi. "But they hurt you so much" sobbed Yeosang as he looked down at Mingis hand. "T-that one wasn't them" said Mingi as he looked down at his hand. "What happened Mingi?" Asked Mrs Kang. "They beat me up and left me unconscious so when I woke up I packed and managed to get to the kitchen but then I saw a knife and I couldn't stop myself from doing it... Then I crawled out and my neighbor drove me here" said Mingi as a few tears ran down his face. Yeosang hugged Mingi gently and hid his face in the crook of the youngers neck. "Well you live here now ok" said Mr Kang. "T-thank you so much...mom, dad" said Mingi making the two adults smile. Yeosang helped his father take Mingi to his room where Yeosang cuddled up to him as they fell asleep.
The next morning Yeosang helped Mingi down the stairs for breakfast after Yeosang had helped him change into some clean clothes. Yeosangs mom and dad served up breakfast and they all started eating but Yeosang stopped when he saw Mingis hand shaking as he stared at something. Yeosang looked where Mingi was staring and spotted a knife on the counter. "Mingi baby don't look" said Yeosang as he got up to put it away. But Mingi got up aswell and tried to run to it but Yeosang held him back. "I have to I have to please" said Mingi as he tried to get to the knife. "No baby no" said Yeosang as he made Mingi sit back down. Yeosangs mom realised what was going on and quickly put the knife away whilst his father went to grab a lock so Mingi couldn't get into the cupboard.
Yeosang stood in-between Mingis legs and Mingi wrapped his arm around Yeosangs waist burying his face in the elders stomach. "I'm sorry I'm so sorry" said Mingi as he started crying. "It's okay baby it's ok" said Yeosang as he tried to calm his boyfriend down. "No it's not you shouldn't have to change your own home because of me" said Mingi as he watched Yeosangs dad lock the cupboard. "If locking the cupboard keeps you safe then that's what we'll do. It's not a problem okay we'll help you get through this. I love you so much and I'll do anything to keep you safe" said Yeosang as he wiped Mingis tears away and hugged him carefully. "T-the voices told me to." Said Mingi as he felt Yeosangs mum hug him from behind.
"We'll get you help okay" said Yeosangs dad as he joined the hug.
