A moment thing💔
Mingi smiled and waved at ATINYS as they finished their performance. They had just finished performing Desire and they stayed talking to ATINYS for a while before heading backstage to get cleaned up and head home. They all headed backstage and most of the group headed to get changed whilst Mingi, Yunho and Hongjoong had their makeup taken off first. Once their makeup was off they headed into one of the empty changing rooms. Mingi took his shoes and trousers off grabbing his joggers when Yunho said "I can't do these stupid buttons".
"Here let me help" said Mingi. Mingi walked over and helped undo Yunhos buttons. Yunho slipped off the shirt and Mingi grabbed a towel wiping the sweat off Yunhos abs and chest. Yunho looked at Mingi seeing how cute and tired he looked right now. Mingi finished wiping the sweat off and looked up locking eyes with Yunho. Mingi licked his lips and leaned in wrapping his arms around Yunhos neck kissing him softly. Yunho widened his eyes surprised but melted into the kiss holding Mingis hips slowly backing him against the wall.
The two got caught up kissing passionately. Yunho was kissing down Mingis neck when he suddenly stopped. "We shouldn't be doing this" said Yunho stepping away. "W-what do you mean?" Asked Mingi worried. "This is wrong we shouldn't do this. I can't do this" said Yunho as he hurried to get his shirt on. "No no please. I love you hyung please I'm begging you please love me back" said Mingi tears threatening to fall as he hugged Yunhos waist tight refusing to let go.
"Mingi stop. I'm straight I can't do this. Liking another man won't be allowed. Let's just stay friend's and forget anything happened" said Yunho trying to prise Mingis hands off. "No no hyung please. I've loved you for so long. Don't do this. I'm easy to love I promise. W-we could keep it a secret if needed" suggested Mingi tears streaming as Yunho tried to get him off. "Mingi stop. This is wrong. Your love for me is wrong. I can't love you Mingi I'm sorry" said Yunho finally prising Mingis hands away and shoving him off hurrying out the room.
Mingi fell to the floor tears flooding down his face. He'd loved Yunho for years, he honestly thought they were soulmates and that nothing could come between them. Mingi cried bringing his knees up to his chest. "It's okay Mingi" said Hongjoong having seen what happened earlier. "I love him hyung" said Mingi sobbing into Hongjoong's shoulder. "I know sweetheart I know, but unfortunately you can't force someone to love you" said Hongjoong trying to calm the younger.
"If he didn't like me then why kiss back? Why give me hope?" Asked Mingi. "I don't know Min. He has his reasons. Come on let's get you changed and cover the slight hickey" said Hongjoong. Mingi nodded wiping his tears and getting dressed properly. Yunho sat down and sobbed, he did love the younger but Korea wasn't very accepting and the thought of possibly losing family and friends made him worried. He couldn't risk that so he knew he'd have to try and get over the younger even though it'll be hard.
For weeks after Yunho and Mingi didn't speak to eachother and all it did was rise tension and hurt eachother more. They tried to talk a few times but it got awkward. The group could see what was happening and noticed how Mingis anxiety was starting to rise to the point he was scared to cross a road or step outside the door. Mingi ended up taking a hiatus to try and calm down and get control of his anxiety. Yunho felt guilty and ended up getting closer to Mingi.
Only Yunho could calm Mingi down when he had nightmares. It slowly brought them back together and before they knew it they were back to being friends but they both knew they'd have to control their feelings. Maybe one day they'd have a future. One day...
