Their unfortunate fate... or is it?
Yeosang smiled as he woke up ready for school. Yeosang was just a normal school boy who had good grades and lots of friends. But there was one flaw that Yeosang hated. His sexuality. The only person who knew about Yeosangs sexuality was his best friend Wooyoung and that's only because the two had been dating for the past four years. The two would turn 16 soon marking their fifth year together. Unfortunately the two went to a catholic school where their relationship is forbidden and classed as a sin. Therefore their relationship was secret and they never told anyone not even their closest friends. Today was just another day however today was also the day they got their grades back from assessment week which was the week before.
Yeosang headed into the shower to get ready for school. Once he'd washed and got out he dried himself and got changed into something smart. Yeosang packed his bag and grabbed some lunch putting it in his bag and heading out the door. Once he arrived at school he headed round the back where he met Wooyoung every morning before school. Nobody came round here so it was nice to get some alone time before lessons started. Yeosang sat on the bench behind the fence and waited for the younger. Soon enough Wooyoung arrived and hurried over to Yeosang after checking he was alone. "Hey babe, we find out our test results today" said Yeosang. "Yep i'm so excited" said Wooyoung kissing Yeosang gently and then hugging him tightly.
Yeosang smiled at his boyfriend and kissed him again holding him close. This kiss last longer and the two could feel each others emotions through it. "Come on or we'll be late Sangie" said Wooyoung kissing Yeosangs cheek and pulling him back round to the front of school. The day went normal and the two were proud of their test results. Soon enough lunch came and the two headed to their usual group of friends. "Hey guys" said Yeosang as they sat down. "Good afternoon Oppa's" said Minky. "Afternoon hyungs" said Jongho. Yeosang sat down with Wooyoung sitting beside him. The group of eight chatted for a while until every ones phone in the atrium went off. Everyone looked confused but checked their phone nonetheless.
Everyone in the atrium gasped as they opened the message to see a photo of Wooyoung and Yeosang kissing at the back of the school. Wooyoung and Yeosang looked at eachother in shock not knowing what to do. A nearby teacher peeked over a students phone and headed over to the two. "You two with me now" the teacher shouted. All the students watched as the two packed away their lunches and grabbed their bags following the teacher. The teacher led them to the schools prayer room. The priest came in and the teacher explained what had happened. The priest tried to explain to the teacher that homosexuality isn't actually a sin and God loves everyone but the teacher was not having it. The priest asked them to kneel down and pray with him.
The teacher stepped outside and the priest did a prayer asking for forgiveness for the two, however after he told the two to stay strong stay by each others sides. The two thanked the priest and headed out. The teacher gave them detention for after school and without the boys knowing the school rang home to inform them of the incident. The rest of the day was horrible. The two received glares wherever they went from both students and teachers. After school the two headed to their detention and were made to sit on opposite sides of the room to each other. After detention they headed home hoping their parents didn't know. However Wooyoung let out tears as he saw a suitcase and some belongings on the doorstep.
He knocked on the door but his father just opened the window and told Wooyoung he was disgusting and was not to ever come back there again. Wooyoung cried and grabbed his belongings walking down the street not knowing where to go. When Yeosang got home there was a similar reaction. His mother was upset but not angry however his father was angry and disgusted also kicking Yeosang out the house despite his mother begging him not to go. Yeosang packed his belongings and headed out ringing Wooyoung and arranging a meeting place. The two met up in town and set up camp in an empty store doorway. It was cold and dark but the two had eachother for comfort getting sympathetic looks from passers by.
