Mingi smiled as he finally finished the song he was working on. He quickly hurried to pack up and download his work onto a USB. It was midnight and Mingi felt like passing out but work had to be a priority. Plus Yunho said he'd give Mingi a reward if he finished the song which gave the younger motivation to complete it. Mingi took the USB and hurried to Hongjoong's studio.
"Appa I finished the song I told you about" said Mingi looking excited. Hongjoong laughed at the nickname and pulled a chair next to his motioning for Mingi to sit on it. Mingi smiled and sat down eagerly giving Hongjoong the USB. Hongjoong giggled and plugged it in knowing how much effort had gone into the song.
For months Mingi had said he'd been working on a song. When Hongjoong asked what it was about Mingi said that it was a love song, inspired by his feelings for his boyfriend Yunho. Hongjoong plugged headphones in and started the track. Mingi usually sang for fun which made everyone laugh but when he sang seriously he always had a unique voice that Hongjoong loved hearing.

Hongjoong teared up as the song ended. "It's perfect Mingi" said Hongjoong hugging the younger tightly. "It's past midnight so go get some rest and we'll talk more about it tomorrow" said Hongjoong. Mingi smiled and took the USB out putting it in his pocket and hugging the elder goodbye before heading back to the dorm. Mingi smiled the whole way there excited to tell Yunho.
Mingi quietly entered the dorm not wanting to wake anyone up. Mingi headed to Yunhos room but was stopped by Jongho. "H-hyungie come for cuddles. I'm pretty sure Yunhos asleep" said Jongho looking desperate. "Okay then" said Mingi happily walking to his and Jonghos room. Jongho sighed in relief and got a nod from Yeosang. Jongho followed the elder and they cuddled up.
"I finished the song Jongie" said Mingi happily. "Ah really well done hyung. What's it about?" Asked Jongho. "It's a love song. Its basically my love for Yunho. Hongjoong says it's great" said Mingi happily. "I'm sure it is great hyung. But you deserve better than Yunho hyung" said Jongho sympathetically. "Don't be silly. He's the one that deserves better" said Mingi giggling.
