Mingi smiled as he saw his birthday was approaching. Everyone knew that on your sixteenth birthday when you write on your hand it will appear on your soulmates hand and the same in reverse. However the writing wouldn't appear until your 16. Not everyone found their soulmate when they're sixteen because some had younger soulmates who weren't sixteen yet. This was called the ink soulmate. Alot of soulmates ended up in relationships and quite a few married but some just stayed as best friends who were perfect for eachother.
Soon enough it was Mingis birthday. The whole day Mingi doodled on his hand but never got a reply. For a few months after Mingi believed that his soulmate was just a bit younger but after a year Mingi started to give up hope on finding his soulmate so decided to just date a few guys but made a mistake dating one of them. Mingi cross dressed alot because he felt pretty in skirts and cropped jumpers and he enjoyed being himself but his boyfriend didn't like it. His boyfriend always downgraded him and called him a slut for wearing such feminine things.
He started to lose confidence but his friends encouraged him to continue dressing how he felt comfortable. When he started getting physically abusive towards Mingi, Mingis friends beat him up and warned him off. Mingi didn't date after that but continued to wear skirts. Jongho looked confused at his hand as cute little doodles started forming on his hand. Today was his birthday and so everyone gasped as the also saw it. "It's your ink soulmate" said Wooyoung, Jonghos best friend. Jongho smiled at the doodles.

"Doodle something back" said San, Wooyoungs ink soulmate. Jongho nodded and picked up a pen and was about to start doodling but the teacher saw him and gave him a detention. "B-but sir my soulmate is doodling" said Jongho. "I don't care you can do it later in detention" said the teacher. Jongho sighed and nodded. Once school was over Jongho headed to detention and sat down getting a pen out and starting to doodle on his wrist.

Mingi was laying in bed watching YouTube when doodles started to appear on his wrist. Mingi started screaming in happiness and ran to show his mum. "Mum mum look my soulmate is doodling back" Said Mingi. Him and his mum jumped around in happiness. Mingi wrote his phone number down on his wrist soon getting a text from an unknown number.
