Sorry I haven't updated in a while I broke finger last week so typing was difficult but it has slowly improved and now I can type on my laptop again so I decided to write this. I hope you enjoy 😊
The hidden pregnancy
Mingi lay crying his eyes out on his bed. His boyfriend of three years just asked to take a break from their relationship because he needed to focus on revision and school. Mingi understood but he wishes it didn't have to happen. What didn't help was that he was pregnant with Yunho's baby. Mingi knew that Yunho needed to focus on school so telling him he was pregnant wouldn't be a good idea. Mingi sighed and made a doctor's appointment for a scan. A few weeks later and Mingi headed to the doctor's after school for his scan. The doctor looked anxious about Mingis age and recommended he should tell his parents. Mingi just nodded and lay down on the bed. Since he was only two months his belly just looked bloated.
The doctor added gel and started the scan. "There's the baby" said the doctor showing Mingi a blob on the screen. Mingi smiled and made a promise to himself that he would look after it no matter what. Mingi had the sonogram printed and hid it in his bag going home. When he got home he got a new scrapbook out that he had forgotten about and stuck the photo in labeling it 2 Months and decorating the page cutely. Mingi hid the scrapbook and lay down to get some rest. Over the next few months Mingi struggled. Morning sickness was the worst and sometimes made Mingi pass out. Luckily Mingi had quite a small bump which was easy to hide under a baggy jumper. Mingi still continued the scrapbook and bought a blankie for when the baby arrived.
His parents were suspicious of his weight gain but didn't want to ask incase he was self conscious about it. Mingi struggled to concentrate in lessons because he was too busy worrying about the baby and what he was going to do when it was time to give birth. Mingi refused to do p.e which made him get in trouble with the teachers and people started bullying him and calling him lazy. Mingi felt tired all the time and started to get unhealthy thoughts. Mingi recognised the signs as signs of depression and knew it was not unusual during pregnancy. Soon Mingi reached nine months and to say he was scared would be an understatement. He still managed to hide his bump but he had to wear extra large jumpers. He started self harming and cutting his wrists.
He felt he wasn't good enough and Yunho would find someone else, he wouldn't be a good mother, he was fat and ugly and Yunho wouldn't want him back. All sorts of things ran through Mingis head. Luckily he passed his tests so he knew that he had nothing to worry about anymore. One night Mingi couldn't sleep because of really bad cramps. His mum and dad were currently away on business so Mingi was home alone. Mingi jumped as his phone rang. It was Yunho. "H-hello" said Mingi sitting up in bed rubbing his sore abdomen. "Hey minky. How are you?" Asked Yunho. "O-okay" said Mingi. "I just rang to apologise, I should never have left you, I love you so much and I should never had put anything even education in front of you, please forgive me minky" said Yunho.
"W-why do you want me?" Asked Mingi bursting into tears. "Hey baby don't cry. I'll come over for cuddles" said Yunho. "N-no you can't come over right n-nowahhh" yelped Mingi as a really painful contraction came. "Mingi are you okay what's happening?" Asked Yunho worried whilst getting changed and hurrying to get out the house. "N-nothing just knocked my elbow that's all" lied Mingi. "Well I'm still coming over" said Yunho still worried. "N-no you can't please" said Mingi. "Why baby? Talk to me" said Yunho. "B-because I'm in labour" blurted Mingi screaming as another contraction came. Mingi could hear Yunho running from the phone. "Is the door unlocked?" asked Yunho. "No" said Mingi. "Can you get to it baby?" Asked Yunho. "I-i'll try" said Mingi.
Mingis phone ran out of battery so Mingi put it on the side and climbed out of bed waddling to the door with his hands supporting his bump. Yunho banged on the door and Mingi hurried as fast as he could to the door and unlocked it fall to his knees in pain. Yunho opened the door and hurried in shutting the door behind him and pulling Mingi into his arms. "It hurts Yunnie it hurts" whimpered Mingi. Yunho scooped Mingi up and carried him back to his bedroom laying him gently on the bed. "I'll ring for an ambulance" said Yunho getting his phone out. "No no please don't" said Mingi. "What why? Baby you're in labour" said Yunho panicking. "I want to do a home birth please Yunnie I don't want to give birth in the hospital. I'm comfortable here, it's just me and you. I don't want everyone crowding round me looking at me and prodding I just need you and to do it here please Yunnie" begged Mingi.
