One thing everyone knew about Ateez is that their leader was very protective. Hongjoong was protective over all of them but especially his boyfriend Wooyoung. Many people found their relationship surprising as they didn't seem like a likely pairing, but the two worked well together. Their favourite saying was 'opposites attract'. Wooyoung was a free bubbly character who was quite extroverted and made friends with practically everyone he met. Hongjoong however was more of a strict caring shy introverted person who didn't mind making friends but would prefer to stay within his little bubble which consisted of Ateez plus a few producer friends. However Wooyoung was putting their opposite characteristics to the test lately.
Because Wooyoung was such a bubbly and loud person he made friends with quite a few people in 'Kingdom' easily. Hongjoong however became friends with 3racha and a member of btob who of which he worked with for one round. Other then that Hongjoong liked to keep to himself and focus on his groups performance. Wooyoung however enjoyed having a large social group but it was making Hongjoong weary and slightly jealous. Wooyoung had always been touchy with his friends especially San and other members of the group which always made Hongjoong jealous but lately it had been two idols from Straykids that Wooyoung was getting 'too' touchy with in Hongjoongs opinion. Wooyoung was very flirty with Changbin and always making comments on the other even when Hongjoong was around.
Wooyoung was always touchy with Felix aswell. Everyone adored the small Australian and Wooyoung was no different but he was doing it to the point where Hongjoong felt the need to tear him away from the younger boy. Today was no different. Straykids and Ateez had decided to meet up in a café nearby to see eachother and have a break from everything for a bit. Everyone was excited to see eachother and both groups ended up meeting at the same time fifteen minutes earlier then scheduled. They managed to get two big tables round near the back which were then merged together to form almost a rectangle with each leader at the end. Everything was going fine with both groups speaking and getting along but a few could see the tension and jealousy in Hongjoongs eyes.
Either side of Wooyoung was Felix and Yeosang. Wooyoung kept feeding Yeosang and getting touchy with Felix. It was driving Hongjoong crazy. Finally after two hours the meeting was coming to an end. Hongjoong booked a hotel on his phone and smirked as he said goodbye to Straykids and heading out with the rest of Ateez following behind. Hongjoong rang their manager who picked them up. Hongjoong whispered something to him before the van set off. On their way back to the dorm the van pulled over at the hotel and Hongjoong grabbed Wooyoungs wrist dragging him out the van and into the hotel. The rest of the boys smirked as they realised Hongjoong was finally going to punish Wooyoung.
Usually their leader would be able to tolerate the youngers behaviour but lately Wooyoung had been testing him too much and the only way to sort it would be to put him back in his place. "H-hyung why aren't we going back to the dorm?" asked Wooyoung nervous having never seen his boyfriend with such a stern and angry face. "Quiet" said Hongjoong in a voice Wooyoung had never heard before. Hongjoong checked in at reception and received the key pulling Wooyoung over into the lift. The two stayed silent as they headed up to the top floor. As they reached the top and got out the lift Wooyoung realised Hongjoong had gotten a luxury master suite making him even more nervous then before.
