Inuyasha and Kagome

Chapter 1

It's been 6 months since I went through the well and met Inuyasha. Ever since the sacred jewel broke we've been traveling far and wide searching for the jewel shards. Which was completely my fault. I'm really bad at protecting it if you haven't noticed.

Along the way we meet a couple people.

Sango and her cat demon Kirara, she's a demon slayer her village was destroyed by hundreds of demons while all the demon slayers were slaying a demon at Naraku's castle. Her brother, Kohaku, was under Naraku's control and he murdered his father and Sango.

Miroku, he's a munk with special spiritual powers. Naraku cursed him with a wind tunnel in his right hand that will eventually suck him up. His father had it also but it killed him.

Shippo, he's a cute little fox demon, his Father was killed my the thunder brothers. Which me and Inuyasha killed them and Inuyasha thought I died so he freaked out. I thought it was kinda adorable.

(Kagomes POV)
"Inuyasha it's getting kinda late don't you think we should stop?" I whined. My feet and legs were sour from walking all day.

"You petty humans and your lack of energy. Fine will stop here and camp for the night, and if we're lucky we might find a hot spring!" He said as he looked at me with with those golden eyes and nice smile.

Wait! What am I thinking! Inuyasha is my friend and nothing else!

Lately it seems like I'm starting to like Inuyasha. Okay, more like falling in love but I don't want to. I want to be just friends and nothing more. Besides he probably doesn't even think of me as the same way..

Once we stopped the boys made a fire and I unpacked some food. We cooked some instant noodles and Inuyasha ate them all. He even stole Miroku's, he didn't notice though because he was talking to Sango.

After we were all done eating me and Sango decided to g look for a hot spring, while the boys were arguing over the noodles.

"YOU ATE MY NOODLES? THERES NO MORE BECAUSE YOU ATE ALL THOSE TOO!" Miroku yelled in Inuyasha's face.

"YOU WOULD OF NOTICED IF YOU WERENT TALKING TO YOUR GIRLFRIEND!" Inuyasha shouted back.

Miroku's face turned a bright pink at Inuyasha's small comment of Sango being his girlfriend. He wishes. "Sh-she's not my g-girlfriend." He said quietly.

I glanced over at Sango who also had a slight pink on her face. She tried to look anywhere but at me.

Once we reached the hot spring we undressed and I slipped into the water,

"Mhmm just what I needed." I sighed and slowly sank into the water. Sango was on the other side sitting on the rock with a towel wrapped around her body staring blankly into the water.

"Hey Sango, is there something bothering you?" I asked.

She looked up at me and smiled. "No everything is great." She said and slid into the water, throwing the towel aside.

"Ah" She closed her eyes and rested her head on the rocks behind her.

She's probably thinking about her family, or Miroku's and Inuyasha's little argument.

"Sango, are you thinking about what Inuyasha said?" I asked her. She popped her eyes open and stared at me with shock.

"N-no. Of course not, what makes you think that!?" Her face once again turned a shade of pink.

"Oh nothing. Nothing at all." I smirked and she closed her eyes again, leaning her head against the rock behind her.

I started washing my hair out. Glancing up at Sango every once in a while but she sat motionless against the rock.

Once I finished getting all the soap out of my hair, I got out and wrapped a towel around my body. I put the shampoo and conditioner next to Sango and got dressed.

"I'm going for a walk so tell Inuyasha not to worry!" She didn't reply so I figured she was asleep.

Oh well, they'll figure it out. I walked for what seemed like ten minutes through the woods and found a small hill with a large tree at the top of it. I laid down and looked up at the stars. I love star gazing, only of Inuyasha was here with me.

But he's I love with Kikyo even though the only thing keeping her alive is her hatred for him. How can you love someone who wants to kill you?

I felt a angry feeling in the pit of my stomach. I was jealous of Kikyo. What can't he love me? Why can't I be beautiful like her even though we practically look the same.

Men are so confusing sometimes. Okay, all the time.

I know I probably shouldn't think pourly of her, it just made me feel even worse and guilty for ever thinking that way. I was suppose to have a "pure" heart but, it's a lot harder then it looks.

I was extremely tired. My eye lids felt droopy and my body was slowly relaxing.

I should probably get back to the others but, surprisingly for the first time in a while, I was extremely comfortable. Give me like, five minutes. Then I'll go back.

As I laid there I saw a shooting star gaze across the starry sky. I smiled as I closed my eyes to make a wish.

I wish Inuyasha loved me.

I fell asleep almost instantly.
