Their first meeting had been five months ago. Both had clumsily run into each other and had instantly bonded over their habit of rambling. A friendship had easily evolved.
Marinette had only been in Queens as she wanted to visit her Grandma. The elder woman had been staying there for two weeks as part of her tour around the World and Marinette had felt like she just needed some time off. She was glad she did. Otherwise, she'd have never met her best friend.
So five months later, finding your buddy sitting in your seat had to be surprising, admit it. Could anyone imagine the terrors and scares she must have got? Not really. It was only when shensaw spiderman swinging around she made the connection. And she didn't fear this spider like she did others.
