The wind shook slightly. Marinette could feel her pigtails rustling in the cold of the breeze as she bent her head back, her clothes swaying.

Besides her, she could feel the presence of another, someone who wasn't her. She'd not even spared them a glance though. She was too busy enjoying the weather.

Her eyes perked up at the sound of slow music, coming from an ice-cream cart. She smiled as he grinned back, Andre.

"I'm here if you need anything." He said, his accent thick as looked between the two. One enjoying the weather, the other mindlessly on their phone. No acknowledging the others presence.

Marinette beamed at him as a crowd ambushed him. She laughed. People loved their icecream.

It was a wasted opportunity. She stood up, taking note of the moon as she walked home, humming the song of her family. She'd skipped the way home, attracting someone's attention on the way.

She hadn't seen him. But he'd seen her. And he knew they were made for each other. The wink from Andre told him that.
