"Work is sooo tiring." Mindy dragged as she collapsed onto Samir's bed. He pulled her up to him and wrapped his arms around her waist.
"So basically I start my nursing job in September, that hospital in Phoenix." Mindy announced with a smile as she rolled over to face Samir. He smiled looking down at her and gave her a kiss on the lips, "I'm so excited Mir, I can't wait to help all these kids. This is so exciting."
'Where are you most advanced?' Samir queried and Mindy bit her bottom lip thinking about it.
"I can't say I'm really more advanced in any special area since I'm prepared/taught to be able to deal with anything and everything. From a fifteen year old that's just gotten into a car accident or a three year old with chicken pox."
"It's not easy and I know it's not," Mindy sighed as she rested her head on Samir's chest, "i'm just so ready to do something with my life. What if I'm rushing?"
Samir looked down into mindy's eyes. She wavered underneath his hard stare, she couldn't maintain eye contact.
She blushed and dropped her head and fixated her gaze onto his hoodie. Samir used his index and middle finger to lift her head and place his lips on top of hers.
This kiss was different from all the rest, it was emotional and sensual. It wasn't strong or demanding, their lips moved rhythmically in a melody together.
When they pulled apart Mindy wasn't left panting she just wanted more.
It was moments like this when Samir was tired of them 'playing around' he wanted to make her his girl he just couldn't find the right moment. But he couldn't wait anymore.
Samir stood to his feet and pulled Mindy up with him.
She looked at him questioningly as he wrapped his arms around her shoulders and pulled her into him.
She was slightly confused at the random hug but she loved his touch. She wrapped her arms around his waist and rested her head on his chest. Tears threatened to escape her brown orbs as he began rocking them back and forth.
When he unwrapped his arms tears were silently falling down her cheeks. He chuckled slightly as he used the pads of his thumb to wipe her tears, "I-I you, m-make me so emotional." Samir understood she didn't mean it in a bad way so he didn't get offended.
"You're such a great person." She jumped back into his embrace and squeezed him tighter. Samir hugged her back with just the same force.
The three magical life changing words sat on the tip of Mindy's tongue but she had to hold herself back. She didn't want to ruin the moment.
Samir lifted Mindy and sat her down on the bed, 'I want to take you somewhere'
"You have more special places?" Samir didn't respond as he said 'get ready, wear something casual'
He picked Mindy back up from her underarms and put her on her feet. Getting the memo she left out his room and walked across the house into her own.
