Aaron was the first to wake up, he cradled me while I slept. Curled up between his legs, my head resting on his chest. He let me sleep in, rubbing my back. Mind wandering to an important conversation that he was avoiding, it needed to be talked about.
Aaron wanted to know my boundaries. How comfortable I was with anything revolving around sex because I safe worded him.
Which he was feeling guilty about; the last thing he wanted to do was make me feel uncomfortable.
Aaron didn't mind not being as rough if I didn't want to be. It was just a conversation that needed to be had.
I stirred in my sleep, now completely on Aaron. It brought a smile to his face.
Wanting to get up and go to the kitchen, me being on him didn't allow that. He rolled over, me laying underneath him.
Fluttering my eyes open, I saw Aaron above me. I wasn't mad at it, having a nice view of what was mine. "Morning", my hand slid down his jaw.
He hummed in response and stood up, before he could leave I grabbed his hand, "Where are you going?"
"Kitchen", he looked back at me and tugged on my hand. I got on my knees and made my way over to him.
"What do you want for breakfast?", he asked as we walked out of the bedroom. He turned on the pot and we waited.
"Ham, egg, and cheese", getting out the ingredients, I pulled the stool over to the island.
"I wanted to talk to you actually", I turned my attention over to him. He was leaning against the counter with his hands in his pockets. I waited for him to start.
"Obviously... I don't want you to feel uncomfortable. I'm not mad you safe worded last night, I just want to know your limits-- what you're willing to try and things that are a hard no." I understood how he was feeling in a sense.
I sat there thinking, Aaron was watching intently. "You know what nev--", I cut him off.
"No, it's good that you wanna know. I uh-- I definitely have things that are a hard no, like anything revolving around... you know."
Not wanting to say it, I gestured instead. He was confused for a second but soon realized I meant Anal and he nodded. "Good, I don't do that either."
I brought my hand to the back of my neck. The conversation needed to be had but It was too awkward at the moment.
"Can we continue this later, It's just.. ya know." Aaron laughed nervously and flipped my sandwich. "You're right."
His phone went off and I looked at the screen. "It's your team, they want to know if you're okay with drinks at eight o'clock."
"Yeah that's fine", I texted them back and set the phone down. Aaron handed me the sandwich and made himself one. We were talking when there was a knock at the door.
"I got it", I said getting up from my seat. I answered and Jack was standing with his aunt. "Bud... you okay."
Jessica answered for him, "He's been sick all night, said he wanted to come back home." I nodded and walked him inside.
"Aaron, can I speak with you for a moment?" I took Jack to his bedroom, getting him settled back in and Aaron went to the door. "What?"
"Is that who I think it is?" Jessica met me once before when she and Hayley came home one day. She knew I used to work for them.
"Look I don't nee—"
"I'm not judging... Hayley made some— decisions and things ended. You're allowed to be happy with another person. I just wanna know, were you guys together when you were married?" He was a little taken back that she thought that.
