Walking into the main doors of the school, Luna felt like she had the biggest hangover ever. Even though there was no ounce of alcohol consumption, it certainly felt like Luna needed a day long nap. Training was extra tiring that morning, and the girl was finding it rather impossible to gain enough energy to get to school on time.
It was really difficult for the girl to take her education seriously. It almost seemed like a joke to be here, but Luna had to keep reminding herself that this was a good thing. It still didn't stop her from being in an agitated mood every single morning though.
The whole situation that happened with Tony was another thing that kept bothering her. By the time Luna went to her next training session with Natasha after the conversation she had with Tony, the assassin told her that he had already left. It felt so surreal that he left that quickly, but there wasn't anything she could do to make him come back.
The best thing she could do was wish him the best at his new profound life.
She wished him nothing but happiness.
"You look like shit."
Luna rolled her eyes at Aubrey's comment as she closed her locker and turned around to face the redhead.
"I brought you this." Aubrey held out a coffee cup, to which the brunette gladly took.
"Thanks."
The redhead nodded in response as she leaned back against the lockers, taking a sip of her own coffee. Like always, the hallways were pretty empty with just a handful of students walking back and forth. It was starting to get depressing to see that everyday.
"Did you hear about Jonah's party this weekend?"
"Who's Jonah?" Luna asked, being obvious that she didn't really care.
"He's in our calculus class." Aubrey told her.
"Why is he throwing a party?"
"I dunno," the redhead shrugged. "I'm assuming it's to spread a little positivity around here."
"And he thinks a party will do that?"
"I'm sure it would help."
Luna raised her eyebrow, shutting her locker and leaning against it.
"You actually want to go?" She questioned.
"It could be fun."
Luna knew this was Aubrey's way of hinting that she wanted to go to this party. Going to these things never worked out for Luna in the past, and that's something that still didn't change even to this day.
