Senior year wasn't going nearly as well as anyone hoped, especially for Luna Pearce. She was a fool for thinking everything would go back to normal once the lost souls were saved from Thano's destruction. She couldn't be more wrong.

Just because the population was saved, Luna felt that things became worse than they were beforehand, at least in her own personal situation. What made matters worse is that the defeat against Thanos happened months ago and things still seemed like they weren't improving. The young brunette felt that her life was a mess. It was hard for her to see the bright side of things, and now she was even more confused after the events of Halloween night.

Peter finally got through enough of his issues to apologize to Luna, but that still didn't fix a single thing. There was also Alex who Luna didn't know whether or not would a problem for her in the future. She had two boys who both made her feel lost, and she didn't know which way she should go.

There was Alex, a boy who was a genuine friend to her and was there for the girl throughout her grieving period. Feelings were developed between the two, already once sharing a kiss in Luna's apartment and then almost kissing again in one of the classrooms of Midtown High.

Then there was Peter, someone who Luna loved with all her heart, a boy who made her feel like she was on top of the world. They've been through so much together, supporting one another and expressing how much they adored each other. However, their relationship ended the second Peter left her on the bus.

Luna almost didn't want to go in either direction, feeling too overwhelmed by the circumstances she was forced to deal with.

Peter was stuck on what to do.

It was clear that Luna was finished with him and he didn't blame her. The boy spent months trying to cope with the trauma he went through. The only person he wanted to be around was Luna, but his anger only pushed her away when he knew they needed each other the most. Peter felt sick to his stomach knowing that Luna hated him. He didn't know what he could do to fix it.

Peter was sitting on his bed, his gaze glued on the red suit that was on his lap. The boy was frowning, his eyebrows knitting together as he stared harshly at the suit, the soft material running through his fingers.

The boy couldn't bear to look at his Spider-Man suit. That last time Peter even wore it was when he was brought back to life, and that was when Peter vowed to himself that he didn't want anything to do with it anymore. It was too painful for him to even look at it. Tony is the one who designed it for him, but Peter felt like it was wrong to still live his superhero life when he couldn't even accept the fact that his mentor wasn't here anymore.

It took months for Peter to feel an ounce of acceptance in his heart. He was still working through a lot of things, but the boy felt like he was finally at a place where he could move on with his life. The only problem is that he didn't have Luna anymore, and because of that, he still felt like his life was a mess.
