It was time for change.

Being stuck in the same cycle of problems was beginning to get too much for Luna. She took it upon herself to make some major changes in her life in hopes to lift the weight off her shoulders. Because of this new profound need to prove herself, Luna decided it was time for her to grow up and focus on what she wanted to do in her life.

Pepper offered to help Luna with college expenses, so the girl decided to take her up on the offer. Luna didn't see herself going to college, but now she realized it was an important step in her life. It would be her time to really figure out what she wanted to do.

Luna loved to write, and it suddenly clicked in her to possibly pursue that as a career. After the trauma she went through these past few years, Luna figured it could motivate her to write about that type of thing, maybe even become a journalist and reach out to people around the world.

But Luna Pearce also wanted to be a doctor. There was nothing more rewarding than helping people and being a hero. That's what Peter taught her. It made the girl think of what she could do that would give her that same title.

The possibilities were endless, and the girl didn't want to waste any time to finally figure out what she wanted to pursue.

Luna sat at the lunch table where she picked at her food, a bored expression on her face as she rested her chin on her palm. The girl couldn't help but notice that Peter didn't show up to school and a part of her felt that it was her fault.

She didn't let herself feel guilty though. She was done feeling bad for anyone.

"You look like you had a bad weekend." Ned laughed as he sat down across from Luna with his food tray.

"Yeah, it was pretty intense." Luna admitted. "I'm assuming you heard?"

"Yup." Ned confirmed.

Luna sighed as she pushed her food away, no longer having an appetite.

Ned found it amusing. When Peter told him what happened, Ned thought it was a clear and obvious way that Peter and Luna still loved each other. It made the boy happy since he felt that there was still hope for their entire relationship.

Luna grew nervous as she spotted Alex from the corner of her eye. She glanced in his direction, immediately locking eyes with the boy and sharing a look that made Luna quickly look away. She hoped he wouldn't get out of his seat and walk to their table, but that wish was quickly squashed down once the girl noticed that he started to walk over, leaving his friends at their own lunch table.

"Hey Luna," He greeted the teenage girl with a nervous look.

"Hey." Luna kept it nice and short.

She didn't want to make it seem like she was avoiding him, but the girl was in no mood to deal with either the boys that were currently stressing her out. Luna was still recovering from the fact that she let Alex convince her to break into school late at night, and she didn't even want to know how he thought of her now that Peter showed up and dragged her out of there.
