Time was really all it took.

People weren't kidding when they said that time could heal all things. Even though it doesn't completely solve everything, it certainly makes difficult situations that much better and easier to deal with.

That's exactly what Peter Parker was thinking as he looked at himself in the mirror, his eyes scanning his entire body from head to toe. He was wearing the Spider-Man suit, something he thought he'd never do again, and he couldn't quite believe it. It still didn't feel real to him that this was who he was, mostly because he pushed this part of his life away from him for a long time.

The gold armor decorated the entire suit, surrounding the red and blue spider symbol that spread across his chest.

He still wasn't used to the nanotechnology revolving around the material, being reminded of how much of a genius Tony Stark was.

So many emotions were running around in his mind as he stared at himself in the mirror, his brown hair being the last thing he looked at before the mask covered his face.

The boy didn't tell anybody what he was doing, already knowing it would make him back out completely. He wanted to keep this only to himself, wanting to see if he was officially ready to do this.

With a long and nerve wrecking breath, Peter slowly approached his bedroom window, glancing up at the dark sky and radiating moon.

His fingers were trembling as he opened the latch and lifted up the window, carefully stepping out onto the railings. The boy could immediately hear the sounds of cars honking and people chattering on. It was a normal night in the city of Queens, New York.

Spider-Man squatted down as he looked below him, his breath shaking with nerves.

Things seemed to be pretty normal at the moment. Peter's senses weren't going off which was a good sign, but that still didn't make him any less nervous. He wasn't used to this anymore, and the boy needed to take a minute to prepare himself to get back out there again.

With a deep breath, Peter weakly nodded his head, closing his eyes for a split second before reopening them.

"Here we go." He whispered.

Spider-Man shot his arm outwards, webs blasting out of his gauntlets on his wrist as he swung his body off the building.

The wind gushed through his ears.

There was already an insane amount of adrenaline coursing through Peter's body, and he couldn't help but smile as he shot out webs and pulled on them, causing his body to fly upwards into the sky.

Peter twisted his body, passing through building after building as he flew in the air, each twip ringing in his ears with every web he shot. The boy took his chance to do a few flips, a soft laugh escaping his lips in enjoyment. He couldn't help but admit how amazing this felt.
