"Hey Nat," Luna sighed as she paced back and forth in her bedroom, the phone glued to her ear. "I've been calling for days now. Happy isn't answering any of my messages and it's starting to seem like everyone is ignoring me." The girl explained. "Can you please just give me a call when you get this?"
Luna hung up once she was done, but her annoyance was still there as she tossed her phone on top of her bed.
Something was definitely up.
Training was going so well, and Luna didn't know why things seemed to take a complete turn.
The girl was the strongest she's ever been, and her fighting was on point. It was all thanks to Natasha, but now it was impossible to get ahold of the assassin.
Luna hasn't trained for 5 days, all thanks to everyone not answering her calls for some unknown reason that Luna was desperate to find out. She called Natasha multiple times a day, along with Happy since he was always the one who drove her back and forth. She didn't know how to get ahold of Steve or any of the other Avengers over the phone.
The girl's only option was to unexpectedly show up at the facility, but there was no train or any other form of transportation that would take her all the way upstate; specifically the Avengers Compound.
She needed a ride either way.
Luna couldn't ask her mom. The woman was barely ever home from working so much.
She couldn't ask Aubrey to take her. The redhead didn't even know that Luna is involved with anything remotely close to this. She was at a dead end, and she officially didn't know what to do about the situation anymore.
The brunette only hoped everything was okay. It was no secret that they must be dealing with something they didn't want Luna to know about, at least not yet.
Luna had already shoved her way in on everything else the Avengers dealt with, so the girl only thought it was best for her to stay out of it until they would finally call her back and explain what was going on with them.
The teenager was stuck with only one other option, and that was to sit and wait for them to come to her.
On another note, Luna still didn't know how to handle her little problem with Alex. She was avoiding him at school and was also making it completely obvious to the boy that she didn't feel like discussing anything that almost happened in the alley a week ago.
It was slowly eating away at Luna, and she desperately needed to talk about it.
It was 6 o'clock in the morning, and since Luna clearly wasn't going to training today, she decided on something else.
The girl grabbed her phone from the bed, clicking on Aubrey's name and waiting for the redhead to pick up.
Just when all hope seemed lost, Luna felt relieved when she heard the girl's voice on the other end.
