"You're late."

Luna sighed as she walked through the clear doors, putting her stuff down on the bench as she felt daggers stare right into the back of her head.

"Sorry," the girl apologized. "I got here as fast as I could."

Natasha was suited up in her usual workout attire, her gloved hands placed on her hips as she waited for Luna to drink the celery juice that was waiting for her on the table.

The woman had to mentally prepare herself every time she had to be in the gym with Luna. The girl was very ambitious with this whole thing, and Natasha was finding it rather difficult to get Luna to focus on what really mattered.

The girl was confused as Natasha handed her a pair of black gloves. She furrowed her eyebrows, taking a good look at the black material.

"What're these for?" Luna examined them.

The woman crossed her arms.

"Well, you'll be happy to know that I'm finally weaning you off of cardio." She told her. "It's time we start learning some technique."

Luna couldn't help the smile that grew on her face. She never thought this day would come.

"Really?"

"Yeah," Natasha replied. "You've gotten better at what I've been having you do, so now is the time to switch things up."

The girl put on the gloves as she followed the blonde to another area of the gym. She was glad to finally get away from the treadmills and jump ropes.

Natasha led her to the boxing ring that was all the way in the other corner. This was where the Avengers would spar against each other when they trained together for hours on end.

The blonde stepped into the ring, ducking under the ropes and walking over to the center with Luna following suite. The girl had to admit that it was already intimidating for her to even stand there.

"Okay," Natasha adjusted her gloves. "First thing I should teach you is how to present yourself when going against someone."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean that you should never be hesitant." The woman crossed her arms. "You never want anyone to think that you're scared. A person can quickly feed off of that and easily catch you off guard."

"That's ridiculous." Luna couldn't help but say. "I would never be caught off guard."

Natasha tilted her head.

"Someone's cocky."

Luna shrugged her shoulders. "I'm just saying," she sighed. "If that ever happens, it'll be hard for me to get distracted."
