Luna felt her eyes become heavy as she stared at the papers that were scattered around her bed.
She was finding it rather difficult to stay focused, but her lack of sleep was making things extremely hard for her. The brunette was already going at this for over three hours, and she hardly got anything done.
Things weren't getting much easier as far as going to school everyday, but Luna was able to manage.
Instead of just training three days a week, Natasha finally decided that Luna was ready to up her game. The teenager was now at the base every single morning. She would show up at the facility in the early hours of each day, and then return home to get dressed for school.
It was hard, but Luna was glad to have some productivity in her life again.
The girl was alone in her apartment. Her mom was busy at her new job, which Luna was also relieved about. The two were finally getting out of their lazy habits that they've been dealing with for months.
Luna grew confused when she suddenly heard a knock at the door down the hallway. It startled her at first since since the knock was loud and firm. She checked the clock on her nightstand.
It was only 5 o'clock in the afternoon, but the girl wasn't expecting anyone to come over. Plus, she had just talked to her friends on FaceTime. The girl let out a sigh as she got out of bed, walking out of her room and heading down the hallway.
Instead of looking through the peephole, the girl just opened the door thinking it was one of the neighbors.
Luna was even more caught off guard to see Tony standing there, flashing her a weak smile as she stared back at him with slightly wide eyes.
"Hello, Luna." The billionaire sighed as he took off his sunglasses.
The teen was quiet as she silently studied him. He looked just like his old self again, having a strong and sophisticated demeanor coursing through his entire persona. He was dressed in a black suit, and his hair was styled the way it always was before. It was surprising for Luna to see Tony this way, mostly because of how physically drained he looked the last time she saw him.
He was extremely weak and aggravated, but now he seemed strong and back to his old self again.
"Tony-" Luna was shocked.
She was truly at loss for words. She couldn't handle the intense stare he was giving her. It felt like an eternity since she last spoke to him. It almost felt like they were strangers again.
"Can I come in?" He calmly asked.
"S-Sure." Luna awkwardly coughed, stepping aside to allow him to walk in.
