Luna felt completely numb as she stared at what seemed like nothing. Her small frame was stiff on the chair as the rest of the team stood at many parts of the room. All of them were quiet, waiting for the right moment until someone would finally speak up.

The brunette had no words to say, no longer being interested in any of this anymore. All she could think about was the pain she was feeling, the heartbreak and the anger.

Tony was seated a few feet away from the girl in a wheelchair, his eyes trained on the tech screens that were lit up as everyone caught him up on what he's been missing.

Carol Danvers stood across from Tony as she examined the screens that showed every single face of the fallen heroes. Luna didn't even glance at any of them, already knowing that she wouldn't be able to handle looking at the pictures a second time. The voices of everyone in the room were blocked out by the teenager. Nothing was being processed in Luna's head as she just stared ahead with bloodshot eyes and a blank expression.

"It's been twenty-three days since Thanos came to Earth." Rhodes started off, watching the pictures as every face appeared on the screens.

"World governments are in pieces." Natasha spoke after him. "The parts that are still working are trying to take a census, and it looks like he did..." the woman took a moment to gather herself. "He did exactly what he said he was going to do."

Tony had to look away from the screen as Peter's face appeared right in front of him, already fuming from hearing this nonsense.

"Thanos wiped out 50% of all living creatures."

This was too much for Tony Stark to process. He couldn't handle the fact that this was what he came back to. The billionaire was well aware that they've failed, and it was very clear to him once the Guardians disappeared, as well as Peter Parker.

The man sighed, rubbing his temple before asking, "Where is he now?"

"We don't know." Steve replied, his arms folded as he leaned against another table. "He just opened a portal and walked through. We don't know where he is now."

The billionaire was already frustrated and angry. He sighed as he caught a glance at Thor who sat away from everyone, his hands interlocked together.

"What's wrong with him?" Tony pointed.

"He's pissed off." Rocket answered truthfully. "He thinks he failed. Which, of course he did, but there's a lot of that already going around."

Tony was a bit caught off guard as he looked at the raccoon. "Honestly, until this exact second I thought you were a Build-A-Bear."
