This is my favorite of all the Gray Wing ships. Sure, he was good with Turtle Tail, but I feel like it's obvious he loves Slate more. When he first met Slate, it was kinda obvious they would end up together. All throughout their "friendship" they kept seeing each other, being far more close than any other friends acted. Part of the reason he returned to WindClan was just to be with her, sure he liked the wind and all, but he obviously returned for Slate. Their kits are adorable, I love this family so much. Ima admit, Gray Wings death was the first time I actually cried after reading a book. Sure I've gotten tears, but never criiiiedddd. Stupid asthma and bad lungs. Stupid fire 🤧🤧🤧🤧 anYwaYs. In Moth Flights Vision, we see a lot of Slates grieving. It's been moons since Gray Wing passed and it's still affecting her like he died that day and I cannot- it's too sad and sweet.
