Clarke saw Lexa typing on her phone "Texting the girlfriend?" the brunette looked at her and nodded, Clarke nodded back turning around to check her phone and turning off the notifications before going back to eat.

Everyone was eating in silence and Lexa just kept watching her phone and typing down something every once in a while and obviously Clarke was dying to text her back, to check her phone but she couldn't. "Earth to Commander, Earth to Commander" Lincoln caught the brunette's attention "Are you with us?" she nodded "Doesn't really look like it" Luna added and now they were all staring at her "We organized this to hang out together Lexie..." Luna seemed really disappointed in her behavior but Lexa had her mind somewhere else.

Her girlfriend wasn't answering, they haven't talked since their call ended, the night before and she was getting worried. "Cmon guys give her a break, she probably just misses her new girlfriend" Clarke stood up for her and the others let it go. "Thank you" Lexa whispered and Clarke smiled, their eyes met and the blonde's mind went blank. It had been too long since their last eye contact and Clarke had really missed it.

Someone coughing took her back to reality and she looked away from those deep green eyes to finish her now cold meal.
