"We should've left the both of them." Yang argued as the six of you walked through the empty train tunnels. "Can we not do this right now..." You groaned as you leaned onto Tyrian for support. "Of course you wouldn't, who knows what you've been doing this whole time." Yang glared from the corner of her eye. "I'm sorry but does it look like I enjoyed my stay... I've got bruises all over my body and I don't think you've noticed the new scar that's covering my abdomen." You glared as you walked up to the younger female. "I had one goal in mind which was getting myself and Oscar out of there and from what I've heard the rest of you were left bickering like a bunch of children." The two of you stared each other down before Jaune got in the middle. "Let's just get going guys, we can resolve all of this once we get with the others." He reasoned and you huffed, walking forward. Tyrian seemed to frown at the lack of entertainment but stayed quiet nonetheless.
"Ruby!" Yang called out for her sister when you finally reached your destination. The two of them shared a hug as Ren left to go see Nora, you Tyrian and Emerald stood to the side watching everything play out. "What is he doing here?" Weiss quickly drew her weapon as she approached the three of you. "Weiss put that down." You glared as you stood infront of Tyrian. "Why are you defending him? He's a murderer!" Weiss argued but you stood your ground. "Don't bother, those two have something going on." Yang cut in as everyone gathered around the two of you. "He shouldn't be here..." Blake shook her head and for the first time in what seemed like forever Tyrian let out a laugh.
"Oh please! Do you all honesty think I enjoy the thought of being here? There's only one thing keeping me here... And like it or not I find myself in a position where I must cooperate." Tyrian finished with a scowl as his tail moved uncomfortably. "And what exactly is the thing keeping you here?" Ruby asked as she eyed his new metallic tail. "Loyalty... Not to Salem but to the Princess." Tyrian bowed slightly in your direction, all eyes were on you as rolled your own. "Look I know your all skeptical about having him around but I can keep him in check... I know it's a lot to ask but wouldn't this be a plus... Having one of Salem's inside men on our side?" You asked nervously. Everyone seemed to have a hard time processing your statement.
"He can stay... But he can't be left alone not even for a second and he has to hand over his scroll and weapons, anything that he could use to flee." Ruby spoke up and you nodded. "It's not like I'll really be needing these anymore..." Tyrian sighed as he handed over his Queen's Servants and scroll, his tail wrapping around his waist as he looked at the new faces. "I'm sure you all know me by now. Tyrian Callows at your service, and I do hate to ask but is there any medical attention you could offer my Princess?" Tyrian raised an eyebrow as he moved to your side, letting you lean on to him for support. Everyone hesitated and moved to a side as Blake spoke up. "I'll take you to him... Nora's in a pretty bad shape so we might need your help Jaune." Jaune nodded and followed Blake inside the giant manor.
_______________________________Your eyes were close as you rested your head against a wall, Klein had cleaned and wrapped up any remaining open wounds while Jaune helped boost your aura to help you heal faster. You were starting to feel better but you lacked the energy to do anything other than rest your head hoping for sleep. "How'd you and Psycho end up together?" Blake asked as she sat in her corner of the room, Tyrian seemed to be asleep on the small couch in the room. "I'm not sure myself... You know he was the first person I have ever made contact with, when I ended up with Salem I was only a weak child and she raised me, molded me into her loyal servant. My first task was to free him from an Atlast military ship, made it look like the Grim had gotten to it..." You sighed as you raised your head, watching as his tail twitched slightly.
"We trained together, spent days scouting together, slept in the same tent... He gave me a book... I took care of him when Ruby cut off his tail, we trained some more he opened up a bit and so did I, I laughed with him and even braided his hair, He made an innuendo that one time..." You shook your head as you closed your eyes once more. "I don't know why or how it just did..." You shrugged as you heard the door open, shuffling and footsteps were heard before the door opened once more. "I knew someone who was similar to Tyrian, so if he tries to mold you into something your not... Know that you have my help." With that the door closed and you sighed, slowly opening an eye you watched as Ren sat calmly on the floor.
"You skeptical too?" You asked with an irritated sigh as you switched positions, your neck getting sore from leaning on one side for too long. "Not really, no, I can tell he's conflicted but there's a sense of loyalty everytime he looks at you..." Ren stated calmly, letting deep breaths of air in before exhaling. "How do you know that?" You asked with a snort. "Same way I knew Emerald was just as scared as we were... Same way I know Tyrian's feelings aren't one-sided, the both of you seem to be very loyal towards one another." You opened your mouth to respond before Ren cut you off. "Get some rest, you need it." With a sigh you nodded and closed your eyes.
