It had been a week of taking care of Tyrian, he had gotten better but still had his little moments from time to time. Even though he wasn't sick anymore, Salem had ordered he stay there untill she saw it was fit for him to come out.
You were currently sitting on a chair in the corner of the room, when you looked up you saw his golden eyes studying your figure. "Yes?" You asked placing your book down. He looked up at you before shaking his head. "Just spill it out, it gets boring when you're not your usual self... Something I thought I would never say..." You mumbled as you stood up and stretched, your bones letting out a pop here and there. "I heard Watts should be getting back soon. That means new tail for you, and less babysitting for me." You grinned trying to liven him up, only to have it fail. You sighed and thought of a new way to approach the situation. "Tell me something about yourself... Like how you got those scars or something..." You laid on his bed as he kept sitting on the edge. It took him a while before he got to talking.
"I was born in Vacuo... I'm a faunus..." He paused to stare at his tail. "And not most are fond of us... My parents abandoned me and I was left alone... Forced to join a circus so others could laugh and torture me for they're own entertainment... But I got back at them... And no one would ever laugh at me again." He let out a small chuckle as a smirk tugged at his lips. He turned to look at you waiting for a response as his smirk grew. "Well... As you know I've been here since I was seven." You sat up with your back leaned up against the headboard as you brought one leg up to hug. "I don't remember much from before here but I do know that I enjoyed reading, wich is why I wouldn't stop begging Salem for some books. I've never been outside since then... The only times I've gotten to see the outside is... When I was with you. You were the first person I talked with, aside from Salem, since I got here..." You mumbled as you stared into his golden eyes.
The both of you paused for a while, just staring at each other looking for something else to say. This was the most... human you'd ever seen Tyrian, no laughing fits, no bloodlust in his eyes and no weird crouch sitting. Just the two of you. "Once we accomplish the queens goal, I'm sure you'll be able to be as free as you want to. But for now the Queens wishes must be put first." You sighed as you leaned your head against the wall, nodding slightly. "... Is there anything else you like..? Besides killing people? Or being Salem's pawn?" You asked covering your eyes. "I-" he was cut off by a knock and the creek of a door. You slowly looked up and saw Watts with his little mechanic bag. "Sorry to interrupt whatever moment you were having, but I need privacy to get to work." Watts waltzed into the room, pulling up the chair you were sitting on earlier and setting his bag down. You got of the bed and picked up your book. "Salem told me to inform you that you'll be with Hazel for the next few days, get some rest, you'll be leaving with him early morning." Hazel said, not even look at you as he got some tools out. You opened the door before you spoke, "Thanks for the information, and the book Tyrian..." You trailed off as you closed the door behind you, not sparing them another glance.
_______________________________You stood by the side of a building as Hazel went to get the both of you train tickets. Your hood pulled up over your eyes as you stared at the floor. "Here." You looked up at him before taking it. "Where are we going?" You asked as the both of you walked to the train, handing a man your ticked before heading inside. "Haven..." He mumbled as he showed you to a room. "Woah... This is cool." You said as you stared at the beds, placing your bag on the floor and taking your hood off. "You've never done anything have you?" He sounded almost sad for you. "Not really no... I spent all the life I can remember in that palace. Wich is why I desperately want to prove myself. I want to travel the world, be on my own." You mumbled as you stared out the window, the rain leaving small droplets on it.
"You're still young, don't rush yourself. You got a whole life ahead of you to do the things you want... I'll get us some food." His deep voice held some sort of pain in it. His words lingering in the back of your mind as you want to lay down. "Don't rush yourself..." You repeated his words in the back of your mind before letting out a chuckle. "All I've known is that you have to rush to get thing done..." You furrowed your eyebrows as different thoughts collided with each other.
