29: The Circus Twin's: Cam & Del

You silently sat on your futon reading a book as everyone sat in silence, slight chatter could be heard from outside. "Princess, do you wanna come out for a second?" Tyrian's grin was back on his face as he hanged upside down. You looked around watching as everyone eyed the both of you. Raising an eyebrow you walked outside letting him pull you up onto the beam. "You must be really special huh? Tyrian almost killed me after that card trick earlier." Del grinned as he rubbed his neck, red markings adorned it as he chuckled. "That's just cause you're stupid." Cam rolled her eyes before they landed on you.

"You are really pretty though, I can see Ty at least has some taste." You giggled at the compliment. "How do you guy's know each other?" You asked as they all shared small glances. "We grew up in the same Circus." Cam grinned. Your expression changed as you looked at Tyrian's scars. "We owe it to Ty for helping us get out so when we heard of a scorpion faunus causing trouble at the market we just had to find something out." Del's tail moved as he spoke, excitement written all over his face. "If there's anything you need we can help, we know the in's and out's of this place as if it was the palm of our hands!" You gave both of them a smile as you nodded. "Thank you, any help at this point would be greatly appreciated."

The twin's nodded before walking over to you. "We have to go for now but it was great meeting you! Treat her well for me." Cam grinned as she backflipped off and into the night. "You have our info now Tyrian, see you around." Del gave you a light nod before doing the same. Tyrian waited until they were no where in sight to speak up. "I don't trust either of them, be cautious near them." He huffed as he sat down. "They seem fine to me." You shrugged as you moved next to him. "Even back then they were sneaky, but then again we were all cautious..." He trailed off as he furrowed his eyebrows.

"Let's not dwell on the past too much, come on it's almost light's out." You patted his shoulder as he stood up. Tyrian wrapped his arms around you, enjoying the small breeze that blew past your hair. "I love you..." He mumbled making your eyes go wide as you stared into his chest. For the first time ever you heard those words come out if someone's mouth. Your heart pounded as you looked up into his purple eyes. Your mouth hung open as you tried speaking. "Y/N, Tyrian! We need you inside!" You huffed as you turned to look at Oscar. Silently the both of you got down and walked inside, everyone already gathered around.

"Alright, we need to start gathering supplies and forming a plan. We can't stay here any longer than we need to, Salem will start making moves and we can't risk putting anyone else in danger." Jaune spoke up as everyone nodded. "First we need to find a way of transportation, upgrade and or fix anything we need, and gather essentials. Once we have that we can start coming up with an actual plan." Jaune sighed as he placed both hands in the small table. "So far General Azumane has agreed to lend us a vehicle if needed, but just one won't be enough for everything we have." Winter explained and everyone nodded.

"Tomorrow we can head into the city and see what we can figure out, even if there's a small chance we'll take it." You spoke up as you crossed your arm's. "Me and Yang can go too, Sun and his team are here and we could use they're help." Blake took out her scroll and showed a few messages the two had sent. "Okay, the four of you can do that. Ren wants to continue training his new ability... Nora needs new upgrades on her hammer, and we need to find a new weapon for Tyrian..." Jaune hummed as he continued thinking. "We'll see what we can do with the Hammer, Ren can work on that tomorrow, and as for Tyrian's new weapon we'll have to figure that out some other time."

"That's it for tonight, light's out in five everyone." Ruby sighed as she laid down. Shuffling was heard as everyone got ready to sleep, taking off your boots, knife holster, and belt you placed everything on the right side of the futon and laid down. Tyrian laid next to you, slowly wrapping his arm and tail around you he pulled you closer to him. Grabbing the edge of the thin blanket you pulled it over the two of you as the lights were turned off.

"Come on! We've been waiting!" Cam yelled as you, Tyrian, Blake, and Yang walked into the city. "We'll see you later, let us know if you need any backup." Yang nodded and gave you a fist bump before walking away with Blake. "So, you said you could help." You looked at the twins while they smirked, a glint in their eyes as they turned around. "We know a place, I'm sure Tyrian knows it too. Back to our roots..." Del's tail twitched with excitement as both of them squatted down. Tyrian grinned as he stretched his arm's, before squatting down. "Don't fall behind Princess." Tyrian glanced at you as you slowly did the same.

In a flash the three of them were off, you following close behind. A small smile made its way to your lips as you watched the three of them laugh and grin while running around the dimly light streets of Vacuo. "On the roof!" Cam yelled as she jumped off a light pole and climbed onto a rooftop. The rest of you followed after, doing jumps and flip's and laughing all the way. Tyrian looked your way, and as if you were on the same wavelength, you did a front flip as he ran to you. Tyrian grinned as he helped you catch higher air, your hair spanning out as you slowly started falling. Your eyes closed as he caught you and placed you down.

"Awesome!" Cam grinned as she slid down to where you were. "Still got skills Tyrian." Del chuckled as he ran a hand though his hair. "Believe me, I've got more." You grinned as Tyrian wrapped his tail around you. "So where too?" You asked as they looked at you. "Oh, were here." Del chuckled as he backflipped off the roof, landing on his hands before standing up. "Hope you're ready Y/N, this is going to be a trip down memorie lane for the rest of us." Cam shrugged as she followed her brother. Tyrian seemed to hesitate for a bit, turning to look at you for a brief second. "Ready when you are..." You mumbled as he nodded, slowly he took your hand in his as the both of you landed on your feet.

Quick note: Cam is a tiger faunus and Del is a lion faunus, both are slightly inspired by Hisoka from HxH. Del's pink hair is from his 2011 adaptation while Cam's blue hair is from his 1999's adaptation. The cards are also a nod to the character, while we know Del's form of defense... What's Cam's??? 👀 I wanna see what y'all think about them so far.
