Your chest rose and fell with every breath you took. It had been thirteen years since Salem found you, and every day since then you had been put through the ringer. Salem kept pushing you to your limit not caring about your age. She locked you in a room with the grim for six hours straight just so you could get hang of your semblance, grim communication, you could essentially talk with the creatures of darkness. Not all would listen to you though, the ones that did only obeyed you for a limited amount of time, the longest being an hour.
"You seem to be getting tired... Are you thinking of giving up?" She asked as another wave of grim appeared. Your breath hitched as you dogged a grim's claw. Sending one of your pawns to attack the remaining grim. "Of course not... I know better than that..." You huffed as you drew your weapon.
Your head pounded indicating that you had reached the limit of your semblance. You sliced through the grim as fast as you could with one blade until you felt the need to split them. "Should've done that from the start..." Salem murmured as she watched your tired body jump off the back of a grim and slice off the arm of another before chopping off the head of the last grim. "That's enough... You've improved but they're is still more you can work on..." She paused as you stood up straight, trying to regain your breath. "Tomorrow is your final test. I have preparations for you to fly out to the meeting spot. Wait until I tell you to attack, our new recruit is a scorpion faunus who goes by the name of Tyrian Callows." You nodded as she started to walk away. "Don't disappoint me... You know what'll happen if you do." You gulped and stood in place, once she was finally out of sight you slouched your shoulders.

"Just a few minutes till we land... What are you even going to do here if you don't mind me asking." The pilot of the airship asked. He was a nosy little guy, trying to strike a conversation every chance he could. "Just completing a task... You should complete yours too... You have your pay, so just get me there and I'll be on my way." You mumbled as you sat with the crates in the back. "Right..." A couple of moments of silence and you felt the ship descend. You quickly hopped off not even waiting for the ship to land completely. You gave the pilot a quick nod as you walked towards the tree line. Watching the airship ascend you sat by the trees and waited for your signal. You closed your eyes and took in a deep breath concentrating on the sounds around you. The birds soft chirps and the crunch of the snow as it shifted under something's weight.
Slowly opening your eyes you were face to face with a grim. "Already time?" You questioned the Beowulf as you pet it's head. "Stay still..." You told it as it leaned down on all four legs, allowing you to mount the grim. More and more grim started coming towards you giving you a small army. "Nevermore..." You mumbled as a feather floated down on the ground. You spotted the prison ship and waited until it came closer. "Now!" You yelled and sharp feathers came crashing down on the ship. "Go Ursa, stand back Beowulf." You placed a hand on your Beowulf's head as it let out a snarl. A group of five Ursa charged at the falling ship ready to get at the survivors. Once the smoke cleared and the Ursa calm down the Beowulf you were on made its way to the crash site. Blood and dead bodies decorated the white snow. A psychotic laugh broke you from your train of thought. "Well isn't that a sight..." The mans eyes showed something you couldn't quite read. You hopped off the Beowulf and snapped him out of your control. "Go." You motioned for it to head to the forest. "Spread out and... Drag the bodies somewhere else." You face the remaining Ursa before facing the faunus.
"Put this on, were heading back by train." You tossed him a hooded raincoat. "Well take the last train and rest at an in, after that we move at night fall." You filled him in as you tossed and kicked the wreckage to make it seem more spread out. "Your no fun are you?" He asked as he lifted up his hood. "Not really no." You responded as you crossed your arms as he circled you. "I could show you how to have some... If you don't mind that is. Of course all with the permission of my Queen." You narrowed your eyes at him. "Queen?" He wasted no time on his explanation. "Why Salem of course, she's the one that gave me this opportunity, she has freed me and for that I am eternally grateful." You scoffed as you started walking. "Technically I freed you..." You mumbled to yourself as you made it into the forest.
"So what are you exactly? Are you second in command?" Tyrian let out a laugh, he knew he was getting on your nerves. "All I know is that I'm part of the plan... Salem has been training me since I was seven..." You mumbled as you pulled your own hood up, the noise of a village close by. "I'm sure you've been serving under the queen the longest, princess." You stopped and looked at him. "Princess?" You asked and he laughed. "If You've been with the Queen since you were seven then you must be of some importance. More so than I. Now my princess, we wouldn't want to keep the Queen awaiting for our arrival." Tyrian turned his back on you and let out a laugh as he walked closer to the village.
"Who the heck is this guy?" You thought to yourself as you walked back to him and into the village.
