You sat on Tyrian's bed while he was crouched on the floor, his hair free of his usual braid. "How is your hair this soft?" You asked as you ran your hands through it. He chuckled as you continued to play with it. "Shampoo and conditioner... That's it." He stated moving his head up so that your eyes would meet, a small smirk on his lips. Something about your relationship was changing and you didn't know if it was good or bad. "Do you want me to braid your hair?" He asked suddenly making you raise an eyebrow. "Okay..?" You chuckled a bit before switching positions with the scorpion faunus.

His long fingers were somewhat comforting as they raked through your hair. Your breathing becoming slowed as your eyelids began to get heavy. A sudden tug bringing you back to reality. You let out a huff, which was apperently amusing to the faunus. "Can't have you dosing of now can I my dear princess?" His hot breath tickling your ear as he finished off the braid.

"Why are so deranged?" You asked as you stood up to stretch. "We all have are virtues princess, that's just one of mine." His excitement evident as he stood next to you. "If anything that's a vice." You spat as you got in position. The two of you had been working on your hand to hand since his fever had died down. "It's all in how you look at it." His laugh cut short as you threw a punch to his jaw. He growled as the both of you got to work. He saw your balance falter for a bit and took the opportunity to kick your leg out from underneath you, but before you could he caught you. His body pressed firmly against yours as your eyes went wide. His hand snaking its way to your waist pressing you closer to him.

"I suggest you watch yourself, remember who's the veteran here princess..." His smile only grew the more flustered you became. "Stop screwing around." You finally spoke looking away from him. "Oh, I'm not screwing around... But if you want I can show you that too." You furrowed your eyebrows trying to catch on. "What do yo-" your face flushed again as you finally understood. "You disgust me sometimes." You narrowed your eyes at him, he smirked and acted as if nothing had happened

"So how's scorpion boy?" Mercury asked as he leaned on a wall. "Why so curious all of a sudden?" You raised and eyebrow as you took the dirty plates to the kitchen. "I'm bored, just give me something to converse about." You turned to look at him. "Won't you look at that, Mercury using words like converse... Did you finally read an actual book?" You teased, placing the plates in the sink. "Just shut up and answer the question." He groaned as he sat by the table. "To be honest... I don't know. He's hard for me to figure out." You sighed as the hot water flowed down your hands.

"I meant if hes recovered from his injury... What are you even on about?" You rolled your eyes before grabbing two more bowl to serve yourself dinner. "Nothing... Just tired." You mumbled not wanting him to ask any questions. "Whats to eat?" You heard Emeralds voice from the door frame. "Stew." You said placing the two bowls down before going to serve another. Emerald sat down and waited for you to come back with her bowl.

The three of you sat down enjoying your food, making a few jokes here and there. "Okay who do you think would win in a 1v1, Tyrian or Watts?" Mercury asked making you and Emerald think. "Watts is more of a tech guy and a doubt he can pack a punch, he looks too scrawny." Emerald commented making you nod. "Even without his tail Tyrian still knows how to hold his ground, he's a serial killer..." You leaned back in your chair as the both nodded.

"How about Cinder or Hazel?" You asked, Mercury answers immediately. "Hazel for sure." Emerald shook her head. "Cinder has the maiden powers, Hazel can take damage but just how much? He'll have to wear out eventually." "Yeah but lets be honest, Cinder is still pretty inexperienced with the powers and what if Hazel can actually last longer than what Cinder can dish out? Then Cinder will be worn out leaving Hazel the winner." Mercury explained while adjusting the screws in his leg. Emerald huffed before thinking of a different match up.

"Hazel or Watts?" Emerald laughed making you and Mercury laugh. "Are you kidding? Hazel would squish him." Mercury laughed before you added on. "Hazel is more than two times his, sure if he had his little gadgets maybe, but he'd get obliterated without them." You watched as Emerald opened her mouth before getting cut off by someone else's voice. "What's going on here?" Cinders words made you all look up towards the door with slightly shocked faces. "C-Cinder... Your voice!" Emerald beamed with excitement. "Did you expect me to stay mute forever?" She raised an eyebrow as she walked inside the room.

Hazel walked in soon after. The atmosphere had changed, instead of talking and cracking jokes like you were before, the three of you stayed quiet and alert for any sudden commands. "You two will be accompanying me to a meeting with the Bronwen clan, Watts will be accompanying us." You looked up at the mention of Watts name.

"Do you know if you'll take long?" You asked catching Cinders attention. She stared at you for a second before replying. "If things go well then no... I'm sure your getting tired of babysitting so we'll try to speed things up for you." Cinder commented making you nod. Once everyone was done they started clearing out one by one, leaving you alone with the big man.
