"Hey, you guys awake?" Oscars sudden voice brought out murmurs from the rest. "Yeah, we're up. Something on your mind farm boy?" Emerald asked as she shifted, her gaze on the stars above. "I can't sleep, maybe it's just the nerves..." He sighed as he looked around, almost everyone shifted to face each other. "We all get those, it's just a matter of shaking them off." Yang gave Oscar a soft smile. "I guess your right... If I'm being honest... I miss home." His voice grew quiet at the end. "You can say that again." Everyone shared a laugh at the comment. "You know... When I couldn't sleep back at home my sister's would bother me, make me try on dresses, give me a makeover. I used to want it to end... But now I kind of miss it..."

"You miss being treated like a doll?" You questioned with a laugh. "When you put it like that it sounds bad!" He groaned and shook his head. "You know... I never actually experienced all that. I have a big family but none of us are close, I kind of envy you." Wiess shrugged. "Oh trust me Weiss, you don't want someone like Yang bothering you all the time." A light grunt was heard as Yang punched her sister. The silence took over again, taking a deep breath you spoke up. "This is the first time I've done something like this, laying down on the ground, staring at the sky, campfire crackling nearby, sharing thoughts with others... It's awesome if I'm being honest." A smile made it's way to your lips, the night breeze blowing by.

"I just hope the fire goes out again this time." Tyrian giggled as you furrowed your eyebrows. "What are you— Ty!" You rolled your eyes at the memory. "Come on, tell the story!" Nora grinned as she caught your eyes. With a reluctant sigh you closed your eyes and started telling them the event that happened all those nights ago. "We were scouting for Salem, the sun had set and we were setting up camp. We had an argument, I don't remember what the reason was, but I turned in early. Sometime into the night the fire must've gone out, the cold was unbearable." Tyrian hummed, his tail shifting as he moved closer to you. "She wouldn't stop shifting, it got annoying after a while, so I did what anyone else would. I offered her some warmth." Surprised looks were shared making you groan.

"Don't make it sound like we did something we didn't." You huffed and turned away from the faunus. "It's up to them on how they interpret thing's Princess..." He trailed off as he wrapped himself around you. "Alright, alright, none of that infront of the child." Wiess smirked as a small hey from Oscar was heard. "You know, there's actually not much of an age difference between Oscar and Ruby. They're both children in my book." A louder hey was heard from Ruby this time. "If I'm still considered a child then a child outranks all of you, cause I'm team leader!" Ruby huffed as everyone chuckled. "You know what would be perfect right now? Some s'mores!" Ren sighed as Nora sat up. "You'd turn it into a competition Nora, not everyone can fit so much food into their stomach..." You shivered at the thought of another food challenge.

"I don't want to think of another food challenge, last time was enough." You almost gagged, remembering the time you tried chugging a gallon of milk. "Emerald, you've been quite. Got anything to say?" Emerald shook her head no. "Not really, Oscar looks like he's deep in thought though..." Oscar flushed red as he looked around. "Spill it my man!" Nora grinned as Oscar sighed. "I know I'll get laughed at but... There's this girl back home, and I just wonder how she's doing... I left without saying a word, she must be wondering where I am. If I saw her again I just know she'd beg for me to never leave again." Oscar finished as he looked up at the sky, almost wanting to reach out for the star's. "It's normal to miss your girlfriend Oscar, we'll get done with all this soon. You'll get back to the farm life in no time." Emerald grinned as she looked over the younger male.

"Do you think she'll actually bite the bait? We could really and all of this soon... But what if things don't go as planned, or what if they do but the outcome isn't favorable?" Blake questioned, a quite settled over everyone as they thought of an appropriate answer. "All we can do is hope. Hope for the best and keep doing what we've been doing, I have faith in us... Even if others don't we'll always have each other's backs." Ruby smiled as she laid flat on her back. "That's enough everyone, head to sleep. We still have a long way to go before actually getting to beacon." Winter sighed, everyone slowly shifted into their sleeping positions. "Goodnight Ty..." You mumbled as you placed a kiss on his cheek. "Goodnight Princess..."
