Your chest heaved as you ran towards the edge, holding out your hand for him to grab onto. "Tyrian, grab on!" Your voice trembled as he struggled to pull himself up. Blake got on one knee, reaching out and grabbing hold of his other arm. Tyrian let out a huff as he placed one foot on the platform, your arms wrapped around him as you let out a few shaky breaths. "I thought I'd lose you..." You mumbled as he held on to you. "Trust me Princess, I'm not that easy to get rid of." He lifted your chin up and gave you a soft smile before helping you up completely.
"I'll go through and help the others, you stay and fight." You nodded as you watched the way Penny and Cinder fought. "See you on the other side..." You mumbled as you watched him run through the portal, his body disappearing to the other side. "Still think I should have mercy?" You asked Ruby as her chest rose and fell with every breath. "I don't think we should go to the same lengths they do... But you should do what you feel is best." Her eyes clouded with doubt as she looked at you. With a simple nod you activated your semblance and watched as her flames disappeared, her body tumbling as she made contact with the platform. All of you surrounded her and this time you kept your semblance activated.
"We won't let you stop us, not again." Ruby spoke as she grabbed the lamp and staff. "She won't either... Your just trying to delay the inevitable, in the end all of this will have been for nothing." Cinder laughed through the pain before she met your gaze. "I wonder how Salem will punish those who betrayed her... Torture them endlessly or maybe just kill them off, a shame Tyrian ran off with you isn't it? In the end I'll make sure you watch..." You faltered for a moment, using this to her advantage she sent a shot towards Penny. "Penny!" Everyone yelled as she fell, her eyes glowed before the flame vanished. Her body disappearing into the void.
You ran and grabbed Cinder by the collar, your eyes filled with rage as pain engulfed her once more. This time much stronger than any before. "You... wouldn't dare..." She huffed out making you narrow your eyes. "There's no one here to stop me this time." You growled as your blade pierced her skin, blood splatters on your clothes as you twisted the blade. Couching up blood she laughed as a white void engulfed the both of you. "I'm sure Salem won't be fond if this... But this was because of you." She smirked as you took in everything. "This has to be a game... Why me!?" You yelled as she walked closer to you. "Like I said... I'll make sure you're there when Salem gets a hold of everyone who's betrayed her." Your eyes snapped back open as you were pushed off of Cinder.
Your eyes engulfed with red flames before disappearing. "We have to get out of here..." Jaune spoke as everything shook. "Do we just... Leave her there?" Weiss looked at all if you as you pulled out your blades. You took a moment and stared at the blood, watching as it dripped down onto the floor. "We should just leave..." You mumbled as you walked forward, the blood leaving a small trail behind you. Everyone shared the same shocked look before slowly trailing after you. Making it through the portal you shielded your eyes at the harsh sandstorm.
"Y/N!" Oscar paused as he noticed the blood dripping down from your weapon. "What... Happened in there?" He hesitantly as everyone else made it through. "It's not important, how's everything here?" You asked as you heard screams. "It's really bad, the sand keeps blocking our vision and grim are coming at us from everywhere." He huffed as you nodded. "We have to protect them, we can't allow anything else to happen to these people." Yang spoke and you nodded. "We can't just stay in one place though, the people will get restless." Weiss argued as everyone gathered around.
"But if we do we'll risk getting caught up in the storm." Jaune reasoned as Emerald came up to the group. "We don't have time for this, grim keep pouring in and we could really use the help." She huffed as she caught her breath. "Why can't Y/N just use her semblance? She can keep the grim at bay and we'll take care of any that come too close." Blake asked as you looked down to your hands. "She could use the maiden abilities as well." You looked at Emerald who raised an eyebrow. A flash of blue came out of the portal before it completely disappeared. "I'm sorry..." You mumbled as Emerald looked at you in disbelief.
Ruby caught her arm as she was about to throw a punch at you. "We can't do this now, it'll only attract more grim." Emerald shook as she calmed herself down. "Well, with two maidens this'll be easier! We'll have one in the front and one in the back, and everyone else can be guarding the sides. I'll have to stick with Y/N to amplify her aura but with this we can keep moving forward and protect the citizens all at once!" Jaune beamed as everyone listened in on his plan. "Communications will be limited but if we need to stop for whatever reason one of the maidens can just light up a signal, go and inform everyone else fighting, I'll inform Winter about the plan." Oscar nodded as he went to gather anyone fighting grim.
"We have a long way to go..." You mumbled as you looked at the sea of people. "We do, but we can't let that stop us. Not now, not ever." Ruby gave you a light smile. Closing your eyes and taking a deep breath you sighed. Opening them once more, a ring of red flames surrounded your eyes as you floated upwards. "I know... All of you are strong, and I want to be like that too." You mumbled as you took position up front.
