"Wake up Y/N! Its time to wake up!" Tyrian shook you from your sleep as he cheered and laughed. "What is wrong with him?" Weiss asked as she stirred awake. "Tyrian it's too early!" You groaned as he continued to shake you. "Nonsense! We used to wake up much earlier than this!" Everyone groaned as he wouldn't shut up. "Y/N, just do what he wants you to so we can rest!" Emerald yelled as she covered her ears with her pillow. "Tyrian please! We want sleep." You huffed as you turned to look at the faunus who gave you the most adorable look he could possibly make.
Your lip quivered as you tried to keep a stern look on your face. "... Fine, wait outside I'll get ready." You huffed as you moved from your futon and grabbed your clothing. Changing from your night wear you folded it and placed it in your futon before lacing your boots and walking out the giant tent. "Bring back breakfast!" Nora yelled making you groan. "Let's go! I need to show you the market's, and the hideouts I used to hang around, and the slum I grew up in." Tyrian grinned as he maneuvered through the city of tent's. Vacuo was big, but not big enough to handel the population of another kingdom. People who had family in Vacuo could stay inside but those who didn't would have to live in the temporary city of refugees.
"You shouldn't have this much excitement for that..." You groaned as you slowly trailed behind him. "Come on Princess, have more enthusiasm!" You groaned again making the faunus turn towards you. "Do not make me tickle you." He threatened as you stood straight up, any sleep on your face was completely gone as you stared into his purple eyes. "Much better!" He grinned as he took your hand in his. "The market is pretty amazing the first few times, especially as a young boy. But we have to get there early to score the really good stuff." You nodded as you spotted a couple of people walking in the same direction.
"Wow, you weren't lying when you told me it gets packed..." You mumbled as you stared as the sea of merchant's and buyers. "This isn't the begging of it! Come on let's check out the supplies." You had to admit, seeing Tyrian like this really brought into perspective everything. He seemed more free with nothing holding him back to show how he truly felt. The excitement in his eyes as he showed you around spoke volumes of how truly normal he was in the moment. "Creeps..." You huffed at a group of men who kept staring at you. Instinctively Tyrian wrapped his tail around you as you continued talking out prices with a shop owner.
"But this isn't worth that much lien, if anything it's worth half of that." You crossed your arm's as the shopkeep insisted on the price. A few whistles were heard from behind you making you roll your eyes. Tyrian turned around and lifted the man up by the throat, glaring at him as he spoke. "Now that's no way of getting the attention of a woman, did your mother not teach you respect because I can gladly show you." His sharp gaze never let up as he dropped him to the ground letting him struggle in the dirt. "Half is fine!" The shopkeep hurriedly bagged the item as you grinned lightly.
"We should drop these off at the tent before doing anything else." You hummed as Tyrian acted as if nothing happened, the whole way back Tyrian had his tail wrapped around you protectively. "Y/N! What'd you bring?" Nora yelled as she ran up to you, looking through the bags. "Don't eat anything!" You yelled as you watched her look through the bags of groceries. "Jaune! I got us some supplies that I think we could use. I was thinking we could use these to upgrade some of our gear." You spoke as you dumped out the bag filled with scrap metal and other items onto a desk. "Nice! I'll talk to Yang about getting another bike soon, these will definitely come in handy for that." You nodded as you watched him go over the parts.
"Y/N, let's go before-" Tyrian was cut off as Winter walked into the tent. Instantly he deflated as he knew what was to come. "Y/N it's time for our training." You sighed as you stretched your hands over your head giving Tyrian an apologetic look. "Sorry Ty, maybe tomorrow." You shrugged as he pouted. "Miss Schnee, do you think it would be possible to skip today's training?" Winter only side eyed him for a second before responding. "No." You hid your laughter as he stared at the wall with no emotion. "You can always watch." You laughed as he turned to look at you. "That's fun but no." The male pouted as you walked up to him. "Come on, stop acting like a child and let's go." With a huff he nodded and followed you outside.
As the two of you were walking a presence was felt over you. The hairs on your neck stood up as a clinking sound was heard. Tyrian had his tail up and his eyes glowed that golden yellow. A metal throwing card was lodged into the sand next to you. "My sweet Tyrian it's been so long!" Two figures stood atop the wooden support beam of the giant tent. You raised an eyebrow as you turned around to face them. A pink haired male and blue haired female waved at you before jumping and stumbling on the sand. "Its been so long! I was starting to think you left us forever!" The females ears twitched as she circled the two of you.
"Stop it Cam, he'll get defensive." The male grinned as he picked up his card, his tail waving around behind him. "Who are you?" You asked making them turn they're attention to you. "I'm offended! You don't talk about us? Well then, names Cam and that's Del were twins and Tyrian's old friend's and colleague's."
