"We can't actually go through with it though. It has to be one of us and honestly... I don't want that." Blake's ears flattened against her head at the thought of what you were all discussing. "We need the maidens power, but if no one's willing to go through with it then we don't have to..." Winter paused as Emerald and Oscar came running into the tent, out of breath and gasping for air. "Merc... Is here..." Emerald gasped with worried eyes as she caught her breath. "Where is he?" You questioned as everyone shared glances. "We saw him at the market, I don't think he saw us but it looked like he was asking questions... If he hasn't found us he will soon." Oscar sighed as he ran a hand through his hair.

"Looks like time's running out..." Cam grinned as she sat comfortably, not even minding the rope tying her down. "We aren't going to go there." Yang glared at the blue haired girl as she crossed her arms over her chest. "No one's going to do anything, so it best we let her go... We'll think of something else." You agreed as you grabbed your blades, moving to your bed. "We should think of a way to dodge Mercury, that priority one for now." You sighed as you looked up, catching Emeralds glare. "What?" You asked as she pointed at Cam. "We have a maiden right here! We can open the vault, so let do it. We'll get what we need and then scram." You stood up and shook your head. "You know what has to happen for us to get the maidens power, she won't help us out willing..."

Emerald reached behind her and took out her own weapons. "I'll do it myself then!" Quickly you jumped in front of her aim. "Are you crazy?! I won't let you do that, we are not going that far..." Your voice lowered as you looked down towards the ground. "I don't want you to do the same..." You sighed and shook your head, walking away. "Emerald... You don't have to. We'll find something else, a new way, a better way." Ruby reached a hand out towards Emerald. Her shoulders slumped as she watched your body disappear from the tent. "We won't get another opportunity like this, we can get the power, open the vault, and ditch all in one go! I know you guy's don't want to go as far as they do, but at this point what can we do?"

Everyone stood silent, not knowing what to say. "I know it's not who you guy's are, but in all honesty it is who I am. It's all I've known..." Emerald sighed as she started pacing. "We can't really stop you, but if you really believe this is something that needs to be done, then go right ahead... But talk to someone first, maybe not us, but I want you to be one hundred percent sure that you know what you are doing." Wiess placed a hand on Emeralds shoulder before walking off. "I'll go gather everyone so we can talk about an escape plan." Emerald furrowed her eyebrows and walked towards her bed.

One by one, everyone started walking in and gathered their stuff. "How are we planning on moving out? We can't just up and leave, these people still need us..." The stress was beginning to show on everyone, sleepless night's and problem after problem put a strain on everyone. "Tyrian, where's Y/N?" Winter asked the scorpion faunus as he began packing his thing's. "My Princess said she'll be back soon, she's taking a breather down by the training area." Emerald stood up and quickly excited the tent. "We'll fill them in later, I can talk to Captain Azumane about lending us an escort or a vehicle... If not we can always use other methods." Winter sighed as she got her scroll. "I'll start on getting the bikes ready and mounted, I could use some extra hands though." Yang grabbed the tool box and left the tent with Jaune following.

You closed your eyes as you rested your head on your knees. Nothing and everything repeating itself in your mind. How did you get here? The one question you couldn't seem to answer. It's not like you didn't want to be here... But would things be better if you didn't follow the path you were on now? You sighed as you lifted your head up, contemplation would only bring you further down. Standing up you gave the setting sun one last glance before turning back to camp. "Y/N..." Emerald called out, turning your gaze in her direction you nodded. "Can we have a talk?"

"I know what it's about." You let out a sigh and ran a hand through your hair. "I just... I don't know if you should. I've made many decisions and I honestly don't know if I like who I am... I want you to like who you are, these power's will overwhelm you if you're not ready." Your voice wavered as you looked down at your hands. "Well I like the recent decisions I've made, I know what this means for me but I also know what this could mean for all of us. Not just me, not just our group, but absolutely everyone. We can make this work." Emerald looked determined to stay with her original decision. "I'm not able to stop you... So do what you must, let's go we've got planning to do." Emerald paused mid-step. "Wait... We can actually make this work... Let's go! I need to tell everyone!" Emerald grinned as she ran back to camp.
