If Lin was being honest, he preferred Aikido to boxing. It came a bit easier to him. The whole thing was based off of momentum, as opposed to speed or strength.

Not to mention it was a valid reason to throw Jonathan to the ground.

"Come on," he pulled Groff out by the forearm, past the boxing station.

"Wait- aren't we....." his voice trailed off as they walked to a larger mat behind it.

"We're not doing that today," he stated. He brought them to the center of the mat. "Punch me."

"Is that some kinda kink?" he furrowed his brow mockingly.

"Do it dammit," he raised his voice. Jonathan nodded, gritting his teeth together and threw a punch but Lin stepped to the side and before he knew it, he'd been flung over his shoulder, landing on his back. Miranda snickered as he stood above him, looking down. He tapped his chin, "Oh right, I forgot to teach you how to fall. Woops," he said sarcastically.

He held a hand out to pull him up but Groff pulled him down and he landed with a thud, beside him. He was on his stomach and he rolled his eyes, resting his head in his arms.

Jonathan sat up on his knees, tapping his ass.

"Come on, up," he chirped and he could see- god he could see he shoulders and every muscle in his back tense. Normally his tee shirts were a little loose but this must've been some sort of muscle shirt.

He sat up, kneeling to face him and his eyes were squinted, face red.

"You think you're so fucking cute don't you," Miranda scowled pushing him back and Jonathan chuckled low, falling to his elbows.

He raised an eyebrow, "Did you just call me cute?" Lin's eye twitched, giving him that death glare he thought worked so well.

But he didn't say anything after that and they continued practicing. And he actually taught him how to fall this time.
