It was early, so early in the morning. 4:30 to be exact, crickets chirping softly through the breezy window, curtain flowing in the light wind. But it was a warm wind- odds were it would rain soon.

Lin yawned silently, hand covering his mouth before his attention was brought back to the bright screen in front of him. He clacked away, scrolling through pictures and different websites, sometimes thinking, sometimes just plain admiring all the choices.

His eyes were bright. He nodded his head along to "One Day More," from Les Mis, volume lowered to soft tones in his ear.

Jonathan grumbled quietly, disturbed awake when Lin turned up the volume slightly. He groaned, slinging an arm over, chasing the warmth of the body next to him. He came to a start, cracking an eye open when that body was sitting up, against the headboard.

His hand landed on his upper thigh and he squeezed, looking up at his face. Soft features, a light smile. Hmm. He sat up slowly, arching his back in a stretch. His hand trailed up Lin's chest, fingers tingling chilled skin. He laid a cheek on his shoulder, laying a few light kisses on his neck. He felt Lin's shoulder draw back as if he was squirming and he chuckled, increasing the pressure of the hand on his chest.

"Mm," Lin hummed softly, "you're warm." He leaned his head back into the headboard as Jonathan continued up his neck, nipping the spot under his ear.

Jonathan giggled into the crook of his neck, "And you're cold. Why'd you leave the window open? Huh?" He mouthed the words against his skin. It tickled and his shoulder twitched again.

Lin rolled his eyes, "I like the breeze."

"Gotcha," he went back to nipping at his neck, swiping his tongue over straining tendons. "So. Tell me. What're you looking at?" he made eyes at the laptop in front of them, resting on Lin's thighs. He cocked an eyebrow, "Guns? Really? Do you not have enough?"

Miranda scoffed, scrolling a bit more, "You can never have enough guns."

"Uh huh, right." He rubbed little circles into his chest, grazing over his left nipple. Miranda let out a light hiss, shutting his eyes for a second. "Anything that caught your eye?" Lin had to take a deep breath, eyes still closed. "Lin. Focus," Jon smirked, going back in for his neck.

Lin gritted his teeth but replied, "I'm thinking of getting the Smith and Wesson Model 29."

"Mhm. Why's that?" Lin caught him in a side glance but he continued kissing his neck.

Lin breathed in sharply through his nose, straining his neck a bit to the left, allowing Jon all the more area to work with. "Ngh, well it was the first pistol designed to carry .44 magnum cartridge, seems controllable enough and it fits perfectly in your pocket."

"Yeah?" Groff ran his tongue slowly down his neck and felt the shiver run through.

"Ye-," Lin bit down on his lip, taking a shaky breath. "Yeah."

"That's nice," when he reached just above his collarbone he sucked hard, drawing out a restrained whimper and he felt a distant sense of pride.
