Lin groaned, forcing out each breath one by one, arms wrapped tight around his husband as they stretched out sideways on the couch.

"I think you've been working too much," Jon mumbled into his hair (which had been pulled into a half-assed man bun, pieces falling out everywhere). He spent his time working the kinks in Lin's back, paying most attention to the space below the nape of his neck, filled with tension from slouching over a desk.

Lin didn't answer, Jon pulled back a second to check on him. Lin's eyebrows pulled together, tongue between his teeth. "Lin?"

Lin moved to sit up, Jon caught him by the arm. "Hey, hey where do you think you're going?"

Lin gave him a sorrowful look, "Sorry, babe I just realized I haven't made lunch yet, I told you I'd make you something and I have to go to the dry cleaners to pick up a few things and I...." he paused, eyes widening, "Oh god, I have a deadline in two days, Tommy's gonna get on me if I don't have something and I have nothing oh my god," his breath was picking up gain, a hand over his chest and he felt dizzy. Jon could tell he was spiraling.

"Hey, no, no, come back here," he pulled him back into his chest, rubbing circles into his back, "shhh, it's okay. I'll order Chinese, how's that? And we can go to the cleaners together, or I can go if you're not feeling it okay? I'll give Tommy a call, see if you can get an extra week on that and I'll walk with you to the park, ride the A train up and back until you've got something to work with. You don't have to be on top of everything all the time, not with me around. I've got you," he continued murmuring sweet nothings, humming a little in his ear until his breathing steadied.

He honestly figured Lin had fallen asleep, sweet, soft stomach exhaling slowly against his own when, "Can we get orange chicken?" it was half incoherent but Jon got it, knew what Lin liked and he chuckled fondly.

"Of course, dear."
