"Buck we need a plan if the world is in danger right now." Harley said as her and Bucky sat in the kitchen the following morning, Summer still asleep in her room.

Bucky nodded and took another sip of his coffee. "I know doll. I don't want to risk you getting hurt though, yesterday you literally passed out with an overcharge." He said, looking back down to his cup of coffee and seeing he was finished with it.

"James Buchanan Barnes, I knew I would over charge. It's meant to happen when I use that power because it takes all of my power and uses it at once. That's why I've only used the portal thing one other time." Harley said, putting hers and Bucky's mugs in the sink. "And I won't be getting hurt. I've been training with Nat."

Bucky looked surprised. He had no clue that the two had been training together again. "Since when?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Since I've been taking a 'cooking class'." Harley said, pointing out that she never actually went to a cooking class.

Bucky laughed a little bit. "Makes sense, your cooking is still terrible." He teased.

"My cooking is not bad! Look, I'll even ask summer."

"Bad idea. She's still sleeping and definitely inherited your moody wake up." Bucky stopped Harley before she went to wake up Summer. "But seriously, we need to talk about a plan if we do need to go in and help."

Harley nodded. She knew it was at about a 85-90% chance that her and Bucky would have to come help. As much as she wanted to get back into action, she definitely had more to lose now.

"Well first we need someone to look after Summer if we do need to go." Bucky added.

The two thought for a second, coming up with a list of people who they trusted to watch their baby girl. The list became shortened as all of the avengers were removed since they'd be fighting too. "So it's Pepper or peters aunt may." Bucky said.

"Well, Summer loves both of them. She loves pepper though, and we know that we can trust her." Harley said, "I think May is probably freaking out about Peter going missing and giving her a kid to watch definitely doesn't help."

Bucky agreed, mostly because he knew pepper would never hurt anyone unless there was a big threat or danger. He also didn't know May that well so he wanted to play it safe. "You call Pepper, I think we are going to have to bring Summer with us to the compound and meet pepper there."

Harley nodded and let Bucky walk upstairs to get everything ready while she called pepper.

"Hey pep."

"Hey Harley, I- um.. what's up? Is everyone ok?" Pepper asked, Harley could hear how worried she was about Tony and even Peter.

"Yeah, we're all ok. I heard about Tony and Peter and I'm so sorry, but I need to ask a favor.." Harley said, feeling bad for bugging pepper.

"Let me guess, you want me to watch Summer while you and Bucky join everyone else to save the world?" Pepper asked with a small laugh, a genuine one.

"You know me so well."

"I'd love to watch that little Ray of sunshine. I could use a distraction anyways." Pepper said, which relieved the stress that built up in Harley. "Meet at the compound?"

"Yeah, me and Bucky are getting everything set right now, but I'll see you there." Harley said, smiling even though pepper couldn't see. "Bye Pep."

"Bye Harley."

Harley and Bucky packed Summer a little bag, carefully getting her into the car. "Are you sure you want to do this?" Bucky asked, stating the car and looking at Harley.

"Of course I am. If we don't, who knows what could happen." Harley said, looking from Bucky to their sleeping daughter in the car seat behind them. "I just- I want her safe."

Bucky kissed Harley's cheek and nodded. "Me too doll." He said, pulling out from the driveway and starting his route to the compound.

As they drive through the city, it was visible where the giant rung Bruce mentioned was. The ground had a large indent in it and it was pretty smoky.

"Mama where are going?" Summer asked from the backseats, waking up from her sleep.

Harley shifted her body and looked back at the sleepy girl. "Your going to be have a sleep over with Auntie Pep for a few days, but now we are going to daddy and mamas old job."

Summer smiled as she heard what was happening, obviously not knowing why it was happening, but she was excited. "Will uncle Tony be there?" She asked.

Harley and Bucky glanced at each other, knowing they couldn't break the poor kids little heart by telling them the news. "No hunny, he's with Petey on a top secret mission. Don't tell anyone." Bucky said, making a shushing face in the mirror for summer to see.

Summer just giggled and kept her focus on the city. "Hey daddy? Why is it all dirty?" She asked, noticing the dust and smoke scattered around.

Bucky took a second to respond, trying to thing if a kid friends answer for her. "Well, the.. garbage men forgot to some today." He said, hoping she'd believe that for now.

"Ok. Hey mama?-" summer said, going to ask another question.

But, neither Harley or Bucky had the patience to sit here answering questions while they maneuvered around the city trying to safely get to the compound. So, Harley opened up her phone and handed it to summer. "Play your games, ok?"

Summer just smiled and started playing her games off of her mother's phone. Well, until Harley's phone began to ring and summer let out a happy gasp.

It wasn't long until the ringing stopped and summer began speaking.

"Hi uncle Teve!" She said, seeing steves face appear on the screen.

Harley immediately turned to face summer, confused on how she even knew how to answer a phone.

"Hey there kiddo! Wheres your mama?" Steves voice asked.

"I'm right here." Harley said, "summer give me the phone please."

Summer pouted and handed her mama the phone. Harley held her phone up so she could see Steve and saw how stressed he looked. "I never got my call Steve."

"Well consider this your call."
He said, "we need you and buck, the worlds depending on us."

Harley sighed, that last part definitely stressing her out. "Way ahead of you cap. We got pepper to look after summer, me and buck are supposed to be ten minutes away, but now it's thirty because of the broken down city traffic."

Steve smiled. "Ok good. Bucky you better be driving safe."

"Of course I am you idiot." Bucky said with a laugh, "why would I put my family in danger."

"Be nice to uncle teve, daddy!" summer complained from her car seat, hearing her father calling Steve an idiot.

Steve laughed. "Yeah buck, be nice to Teve." Steve said with a smirk.

"Hang up on him before I throw the phone out the window." Bucky said with a small smirk, raising an eyebrow to the phone.

Harley nodded and pointed the phone back towards her. "Ok Stevie, we'll see you guys in a bit."

"Alright, make good choices!"

"I'll control them uncle Teve!"
