The following day, Harley and Bucky found themselves hanging out at the compound again. It was around 2:30 when they got there.

"Spidey isn't back from school yet? I want to know what he came up with to deal with that kid!" Harley said, noticing Peter wasn't at the compound just yet.

Wanda laughed. "Well, he knows I would help him." She said with a smirk, letting her fingertips glow red as she showed her powers.

"Wanda, no. Not only is that putting a kid in danger, but also Peter." Tony said, pointing to the girl with red power. "Besides, that could get us into a lot of trouble."

Harley sighed. "Jesus stark, you've been near Steve for too long. Go on vacation or something." The pregnant lady said, leaning back against the couch.

Tony smirked. "You know what, I think we all deserve a break. I'm not lying for a vacation, but a break would be nice."

Nat looked at Tony with a raised eyebrow. "What do you mean by break?"

"I'm totally fine, NOBODY look at me." Peter said as he stormed into the compound, covering his face and keeping his head down.

Instead of listening to the kid, every single one of the avengers turned to look at him. "Kid move the hand." Tony said.

"Mr stark I'm ok." Peter said, keeping his hand in place and continuing towards the kitchen.

Wanda sighed and used her mind control power to force Peter to come back and move his hand. "WANDA!" The boy complained, using all of his strength to hold his hand up.

But, he failed. His hand fell from his face to reveal a pretty nasty bruise forming around his eye. "Damnit Parker what'd you do now?" Sam asked, noticing the bruise.

"Take a guess." Peter responded. "I might have to borrow Wanda."

"Nobody is borrowing anyone. Kid what the hell did you do?" Tiny asked, becoming impatient with the issue.

Peter sighed and sat on the couch beside nat and crossed his arms. "Flash was being an ass again. I tried to fight back!"

"Language."

"Oh shut up Steve." Harley said, raising her hand at Steve but keeping her eyes on Peter. "And your Spider-Man, how did a little jerk like that kid beat you up?"

Peter shook his head. "Because Spider-Man is supposed to save the day, not get into fist fights with some asses! Nobody knows I'm Spider-Man, it's my secret identity and I'm not risking that just because someone was being annoying."

"Steven Rogers if you even mention the language again so be it i will blast you through that wall." Harley said, noticing Steve about to open his mouth again.

Steve stopped quickly and sat back in his chair. "She scaring anyone else right now?" He said, pointing to the girl.

Bucky nodded. "Totally." He said while looking to Steve quickly, "hey har calm down, peters clearly ok." He then Said, rubbing Harley's back and pulling her in to relax.

Wanda came into the room holding a bag of ice for peters eye, handing it to the boy and sitting back down. "Now what?"

"Ok kid listen to me carefully. If that jerk try's this again, flash this in his eyes." Tony said, handing Peter a laser pointer looking object.

Nat looked at tony like he was crazy. "What?! You want him to blind the kid?!"

"No, it just flashes a bright light in his eyes, giving him a chance to get away."

Harley smirked. "Where can I get one." She said with as straight of a face she could.

"Absolutely not." Bucky said, looking at her like she was crazy, knowing she would constantly flash it in everyone's eyes.

Harley laughed and let her straight face fall to a smile, leaning back into Bucky. "Ok so, back to our conversation about taking breaks."

Tony nodded. "Right, like I was saying, I think we should all take a break from the avengers initiative. The world seems to be in a pretty stable place right now and we all just need to rest."

Harley was way ahead of tiny with that choice, even though she was forced to take a break. Everyone seemed to agree too, especially since Tony was leaving the compound anyways to go live in a cabin with pepper.

"So this is it?" Harley asked with a raised eyebrow.

Steve shook his head. "Well of course not, the avengers are still here.. we just need the world to know that we deserve a break too. Plus, within the past month we've gotten called to ridiculous missions that the police could handle for themselves."

"So what now?" Peter asked, not knowing exactly how this change would work.

"Well, Bucky and I will probably go home and do what we usually do. Clints already home with his family, I'm sure Wanda and vision were going to run away together anyways, sam has his own place, and then Steve and Natasha I assume will be here." Harley said, making sure she got everyone. "Oh and Thor will be in his little kingdom and Bruce will be- wherever."

Nat nodded. "Your good at coming up with things." She said with a small laugh. "But yeah, I have nowhere else to go so I'm definitely here."

"Me too." Steve said, him and Natasha smiling at each other for a little longer than necessary. Harley couldn't help but smirk at how stupid they looked.

"Ok so then it's settled?"

"I guess so.."
