"Don't get up yet.." Harley softly said as morning came around, stopping Bucky from slipping away.

Bucky smiled and kissed her forehead. "I'll be right downstairs Har, you can come if you want." He said with a small laugh.

Harley opened her eyes a little bit and looked at the alarm clock Bucky had beside his bed. "But it's only eight o'clock.." she said, raising her eyebrow.

Bucky nodded. "Exactly, I have to go pick up breakfast today since everything went bad when Thor broke the fridge." He said, sitting down on the bed and putting his hand on Harley's cheek. "You can come with me, I'm only going to the bagel shop."

the girl nodded, pulling herself out of Bucky's bed. "Give me five minutes." She said, walking out of his room and going towards her own.

She got changed into an outfit that wouldn't give herself away, then looked in the mirror. She managed to get her clothes on but her hair was an absolute mess.

"Wake- oh your up:" nat said as she slowly opened Harley's bedroom door. "Nice outfit, the hair could use a bit of maintenance though."

Harley gave nat a sarcastic look and shook her head. "Just shut up and help me, I ant really move my arm and getting dressed was tiring enough." She complained.

Nat did as Harley asked her, gently and quickly brushing through Harley's hair and putting it in a French braid.

"Thanks! Your a life saver!" Harley said with a smile, running out of her room to find Bucky.

Nat smiled. "Don't forget trained assassin! And calm down before you break something."

Harley giggled and accidentally ran into Bucky and Steve. "Jeez Har, what took you so long. I'm starving." Steve complained. "And I never got a thank you for like saving your life yesterday."

The girl simply looked at Steve, staring him down. "Why thank you, sir Steven Rogers for helping me not get killed by hydra." She said, doing a dramatic bow.

Steve shook his head. "Ok ok just go, I'm too hungry to wait around any longer."

Bucky and Harley gave a nod and walked out of the compound, taking one of the cars to the bagel shop.

Harley relaxed her body against the leather seat, being very cautious of how she moved her hurt arm.

"You know it's ok to not be at your full self sometimes right?" Bucky said, "I know you want to get right back into action, you always do."

Harley nodded. "Someone's been paying attention." She said with a fake impressed tone. "Now tell me this, let's say the roles were switched and you were me. Wouldn't you want to get right back into action?"

Bucky peeked over to Harley, doing his best to also keep focus in the road. "Well of course I would but-"

"But you know that you could worsen the damage." Harley said. "Well think about it this way, if saving the day means to worsen the damage.. would you do it? If it depended on you saving a whole truck load of innocent people and the consequence was hurting your arm or leg, would you do it?"

Bucky sat quiet. Of course he would do it, but he knew admitting that would only make Harley think what she wanted to do was the right choice.

"You amaze me Harley spade, but not enough to make me change my mind about your training." He said, putting his hand down on top of Harley's leg.

Harley smiled at him, placing her hand on top of his and held it. "Well James, you also know that I am terrible at keeping away from danger." She said with a small laugh.

Bucky nodded, "I know that doll, but I just got you back and I'm not ready to let you risk your life again. Especially if it leads to something dangerous."

The couple smiled at each other quickly, Bucky looking away so he didn't crash the car. But Harley kept looking at him, his light blue eyes glowing in the sunlight.

As they arrived to the bagel shop, it wasn't too busy. Harley made sure she put on her sunglasses and cap before going in.

"Can I get um.. two dozen bagels." Bucky said as they approached the front register.

"Two dozen?" Harley asked with a small laugh.

Bucky nodded. "We live with Thor, he eats like an animal." He said, putting an arm around her waist. "Plus, we might have to eat these for lunch too."

Harley smiled and the two waited for their bagels. She wanted to get out of there quickly, taking notice of the police officer looking at her.

As she moved herself closer to Bucky, the more nervous she became. But the nerves went away a little bit as Bucky was handed the two bags of bagels.

"Thank you." Bucky said, holding the bagels in one hand and Harley with the other as they left. "Why'd you tense up in there? You alright?"

Harley nodded. "Yeah I um.. I'm alright. That police officer seemed a bit suspicious of me."

Bucky gave a weak smile, leaning over to kiss her cheek. "Once people can see you as an avenger, it won't happen as often. I promise." He tried to reassure her.

Harley nodded and placed her hand in his and holding their hands against her cheek. "When we get back, I'm going to sleep again.. whatever Cho did is making me extremely exhausted."

"What do you mean? You were just wide away five minutes ago." Bucky said, glancing over to Harley.

"I know but-" she began to say, a yawn stopping her. "I feel like I haven't slept in ages."

Bucky took his hand away from her and felt her forehead. "You feel fine.. you look fine, but tired." He said, feeling no strange temperature coming from her.

"Exactly. Wake me when we get home, or if someone's dying." She said, leaning her head on her hand and shutting her eyes, falling asleep within the next five minutes.
