Me and Draco were sitting in his dorm room, both of us writing our essay. Silence has been there for a long time now. No one talked. Draco was at his desk and I was sitting in front of his bed, my books placed on it. We kept on writing our essays unbothered, eager to finish until

"Dracieee!!" An annoying, high pitched voice squealed and the door to his room opened. Draco's and my head shot up, our eyes on the door and there she was stood. Pansy Parkinson grinned widely and her smile fell as soon as she saw me.

"You" she said and I looked over to Draco as in do something and he just shrugged with his shoulders, looking at me innocently.

Draco and I've been dating for a while now. I was his girlfriend and Pansy his girl bestfriend. I didn't like her, but wanted Draco to be happy. I was jealous, yes. Insecure, yes. Yet I tried to hide it. He was always spending time with her instead of me, yet I didn't complain. When we're spending time with each other, it mostly looked like this. Writing essays, while nobody talks. I actually wanna talk with him, laugh with him, damnit I even would want him to distract me, I want him to make me laugh till my stomach hurts, I just want at least a little bit of attention. A teeny tiny itty pitty bit. Nothing more. But another girl is already living my dream. Pansy.

"Yeah, whatever." Pansy shrugged and walked over to Draco, ignoring my precense. "Dracie?" She put her elbow on his shoulder and looked at his essay with him as I watched them.

"Yeah?" he responded emotionless.

"You wanna come to Hogsmeade tomorrow? With me?" She asked and I curiously waited for Draco's responsion.

"Yeah, why not." He smiled and I looked at him, frowning a little.

I'm sure I looked hurt, but I could care less to be honest.

I cleared my throat as they stared at each other for a little too long. Pansy turned her head slowly to me, rolling her eyes while doing so. Draco looked back after he realized and looked at me confused. Pansy's elbow was still on his shoulder, her face dangerously close to his. I eyed Pansy, her elbow on his shoulder and then Draco. He realized and shrugged her off.

"Oh, uh, you wanna come too?" He asked and I tried to gather myself together.

I took a deep breath and turned back to writing my essay, wanting to look careless, even though I did care a lot. "No, enjoy yourselves." I mumbled, while feeling how tears would flow down my cheeks at any second. Yet I didn't let it happen.

"Oh, ok." Draco turned back.

I could sense Pansy's smirk. "As I thought so." She whispered and in the corner of my eye I saw Draco punching her arm playfully. They both laughed. It shattered my heart into pieces.

"I think I'm going." I said too fast, mumbling it and not waiting for an answer. I grabbed my essay and ran out.

-the next day-

I was sitting in the common room, wearing casual clothes, while being deep in a story, the book in my hands.

I got inrerrupted by two people laughing. I looked to my side and saw the door to the common room open.

"You're so funny, Draco!" She threw an arm around Draco, and I clenched my jaw.

"Oh, hey (y/n)." Draco greeted me.

"Hey" I tried to hide the jealousy in my voice. "Oh, Draco. You wanted to take me out on a date today, remember? I'm going to change real quick and-" I jumped up excitedly and walked to the stairs, but got cut off.

"Oh, (y/n). About that" He rubbed the back of his neck nervously and Pansy pulled him closer, hugging him. I still tried not to look jealous as I looked at her and back to Draco. "I totally forgot about that and made plans with Pansy. Tomorrow?" He asked. I smiled through the pain.
